What does the weather look like in Greece? | 112, Climate Tone | NEON + World Weather Network
112, Climate Tone has commissioned the artist Natalia Tsoukala to create a time-series of photographs depicting the changing weather in Athens over six months (June - December 2022). The variation of elements in photographs shot from the same position, day by day, record characteristically specific local weather changes - revealing its essence. Noting the highest temperature each day in the top right-hand corner of each image, Tsoukala chronicles what the weather looks like from three different urban viewpoints, gazing at where the city meets the natural environment.
112, Climate Tone is a contemporary art project by NEON for the World Weather Network, with a focus on climate change and the environmental crisis as an urgent and ongoing condition

Πώς φαίνεται ο καιρός στην Ελλάδα; | 112, Climate Tone | NEON + World Weather Network
To 112, Climate Tone αναθέτει στη Ναταλία Τσουκαλά τη δημιουργία μιας χρονοσειράς φωτογραφιών του τοπίου της Αθήνας από σταθερά σημεία με στόχο την καταγραφή του καιρού για έξι μήνες (Ιούνιος - Δεκέμβριος 2022). Η αλλαγή στοιχείων στις φωτογραφίες από το ίδιο σημείο, μέρα τη μέρα, αποτυπώνουν χαρακτηριστικά την αλλαγή του καιρού τοπικά - φανερώνουν την όψη του. Σημειώνοντας κάθε φορά την υψηλότερη θερμοκρασία της ημέρας στην πάνω δεξιά γωνία της εικόνας παρουσιάζεται η εικόνα του καιρού στην πόλη της Αθήνας, από τρία σταθερά σημεία στο όριο με το αδόμητο φυσικό περιβάλλον.
Το 112, Climate Tone είναι ένα πρόγραμμα σύγχρονης τέχνης του ΝΕΟΝ για το World Weather Network, εκπέμποντας από την Ελλάδα ένα σήμα για την κλιματική αλλαγή και την περιβαλλοντική κρίση.
