Martin Kippenberger was an absolute fuckin' arsehole! His whole being was about protecting himself as artist and being "important" in his lifetime. He never achieved that. His problem was that none of the actual artists in West Berlin at the time took him seriously. I lived in West Berlin (as it was known at the time). I was deeply entrenched in the art-world of West Berlin because I was (and still am) a picture-restorer. I frequented the "Club SO36" where Kippenberger often hung out. Eventually, he (Kippenberger) bought a share of the club, but he very quickly became enamoured of his buy-in for the following reason: Let me set that out. And, remember, I was actually there when it happened! On his 25th birthday, Kippenberger had vast quantities of DIN A huge posters printed to herald the occasion (of his birthday). The posters were held in green hues and depicted Kippenberger standing next to his forner senior miner father, and your man Kippenberger wanted them posted around the whole of West Berlin. That's not what actually happened, but there were enough word-of-mouth messages that guaranteed a full house in SO39 .That's what happened! The place was absolute chokka! And this is where the reports seem to differentiate. public

Enough with all this bullshit. Is this a concept for museum or gallery? Thousands of women's magazines wrote such articles for years. The world is changing and unfortunately art can't follow. For decades, we view the same things,...repetitive patterns, or splashes on canvas, silly concepts like this from performing fartists or installation fart.. Absence of talent, skill, ideas, a theme to motivate the viewers, make them think,..It's been years that I havent't seen a unique piece of art. Sad

Tόσο ξενες εικόνες για τους ανθρώπους της πόλης, και τόσο οικείες και σχεδόν καθημερινές για τους ανθρώπους της επαρχίας Και ειδικά των ορεινών χωριών που αυτό είναι η καθημερινότητά τους ειδικά το χειμώνα
