DNA Tests Help Donor-Conceived Daughter Reunite With Biological Father | NBC News
I am a donor and have 10 children out there. I hope that one day contact is made.
Oof. It is a dealbreaker for some people, so I hope you’re in a happy and committed relationship now.
I’m thinking about becoming a donor myself, so would you recommend it to other people? Did donating make you worry at all over the years about what could happen in the future? Your advice would be awesome thanks.
@@thedoctalove1573 I would recommend it every time. I had no doubt in my mind that I wanted to donate and I have never worried about it since. Good luck.
I love all the people in this story you guys are all nice sweet people I'm glad you found each other and I'm glad your children exist
Lol..the girls are SUCH sisters...same expressions, same voices, hilarious
I thought you donated sperm because it was anonymous. But I'm glad I never did it now.
Very interesting story! Thanks for producing it.
Children have rights.
Tell that to the selfish parents whom made them
It's been 6 years since I found out. How do I be ok and not resent my parents for this?
Resent them for what giving you life? Loving you? Just be positive, appreciative and thankful. Your life would be much better if you had a more positive attitude
What a beautiful story! ❤❤❤
im really nervous to reach out to my donor parent becuase im afraid of him not wanting to know who i am. I have been wondering about this other half of me my whole life, and im so afraid of being disapointed. should i try and reach out?
No
Why
Yes offcourse
Good luck
I believe a good portion of donors want to meet their child. I'm a donor myself and can't wait too meet the children. It will be 15 years from now, and I'll be 43 before I meet my first couple of kids. I think you should reach out and see what happens
I hope if you do you get a Positive result I'm praying for you
First thing Dad needs to do is to teach her how to dress appropriately. 😵💫
I look forward to a future of no more anonymous sperm donors living; but ones donated to science as organ donors simply because of this!.
I think it's awesome I would love to have children that I don't know about come and find me but as a woman that's never going to happen
Great, now there will be a run on the sperm banks.
Good Gene pool
Doesn't remember being a donor ?? lol
ubiquity069 obviously he could be BSing, but back in the day when the technology was less good they would use working sperm from couples where women were having trouble concieving. Or they said it was for "research" when they donated. I am sure some people really had no idea
Dude he made a free 100 dollars…he 90% doesn’t remember at all
Very cool! I find it disturbing that one would have so little responsibility for their reproductive power that they would forget selling their gametes. But hey, different strokes for different folks!
interesting
