It's been what 6-4 years since I've heard Nightcore? What the hell happened during that time! It really has improved.
Trust me the bad ones are still out there.
To me, the Nightcore version of this song is better than original. Don't know why, I just like it better in Nightcore. It's like this song was made for a faster tempo, and Nightcore just fits in that criteria perfectly.
The original is very dark .. why dose old songs that we use for good have dark lyrics original . Like why

I been listening to this song on repeat as I had to deal with working for my landlord today with yard work. This song is STILL as beautiful as any other year I hear it and I love the tempo of how fast it is as this feels like a Christmas song that is MEANT to be a more fast song over a slow one. Beautiful, haunting, yet alluring like the night sky on Christmas Eve itself. Full of wonder, hope, mystery, a bit of a Christmas type of haunting that you'd feel a bit on guard as you wander the night, but mostly still heartfelt and joyful enough that you feel at peace hearing it.
It's an odd feeling to describe for me, foreboding and peaceful is a strange mix for sure, but this song does it in a way that leaves me willing to brave the dark to find the lights that shine within the mysterious and alluring blackened veil of the night sky.
IDC IF ITS AUGUST! Or as a prophet of holiday would say "Pumpkin spice is year round flavoring" this is my "Carol of the Bells is year round music"
