if you just get a bmx bike you can always get a second set of brakes added on. Remember not everyone who has a BMX bike rides with two brakes or brakes at all.....its just your riding style you are comfortable with

Well actually it does. The seat has to be lower then your knees on BMX. The seat should be perfectly atached, not so high. About other points I agree with you.

@jethrotay most bikes will hold you up. u can probably do small jumps, but if u want to go big i suggest u invest in a sturdier bike. if ur bike feels like its crunching under the pressure id stop tho, u can always get sturdier double walled rims or a heavier bike.

It's because he does flatland where most people who ride bmx and do flatland are too scared to even go 4 inches in the air therefore the pegs are pretty much for standing.
but not everyone has the same style so its not everything you can do on a bike the pros still learn new things so you cant just master it and balance isnt all of flatlanding.
