"Everybody deserves to be taken seriously". I love the sense of fairness and kindness underlying that sentiment.

Finding a therapist that isn't immediately like "the labels don't matter" is really hard. I was labeled borderline and yes I'm dramatic and attention seeking but I do wish there were resources that are available in rural communities for accurate assessment. Finding out from social media that autism, BPD, and C-PTSD can all be mistaken for one another has me in a tailspin trying to figure out if the psych teams are wrong and don't want to admit it or if it's more or less complex. Thank you for the content.

"split personality disorder" usually refers to DID, which is not a personality disorder.

Why wasn't this up during my course?
Also the care i was receiving from my doctors (which wasnt great in the first place) greatly deminished the care i received for adhd and other things, "because i am faking"

Ever considered that anxiety and depression are logical consequences of being aware of the current surroundings?

having had severe depression and anxiety as a part of bipolar disorder, no. They’re often neurobiochemical illnesses. You can understand the realities of the world without being mentally ill.
