- I played Final Fantasy 7 Remakes DLC for the first time! The full playthrough was streamed on Twitch. I've edited my playthrough down to try and summarise my experience, only including my reactions, best bits and favourite parts. Yuffie's VA is so good. That scream at the end was chilling.
YES AGREE!! I just recently played FF7 OG and I could hear the VA when reading Yuffie's lines! It was so true to the original character

@@robbyt-low4937 I thought about doing that BUT my friends who have played the OG think it might be most fun to play the OG now before 7R part 2!! I'm going to start it tomorrow

As a fan of the Final Fantasy series, I personally would recommend newcomers play the OG FF7, before Remake. It is turn-based and that is an automatic "pass" for some gamers. However, I feel that there is a significant amount of content that only makes sense if you have played the original. It seems like the added context may not be needed, but if you loved Remake I would suggest playing the OG anyway, before moving onto Rebirth and the future/final installment of the Remake series.
Most of Remake is entirely new content that was not in the original, including many of the NPCs like Marle and Roche. The Remake covers only roughly the first 4 hours of the original game.

Also, as a new gamer to the ff7 world, I actually do t know what to recommend. Crisis core ISNT a bad way to begin the journey into OG/remake. But it ANSWERS questions that perhaps will take away the shock value had you gone to the OG. Or it may not.
The OG will also spoil the same questions crisis core answers; but playing it first before crisis core MAY be more familiar to you considering that it is a remake.
This is what the remake has done, it has allowed new sceneries to tell the OG story, something that is extremely rare to do.

Yes I think so eventually! I'm playing 7 OG right now on Twitch, I think I'll play the original compilation, then reunion, then Rebirth when that's out! :)

Yes, VII is quite tragic and sad. Every single character has their own back story and Shinra plays the part of evildoer in every single one of them in some way. This game really makes you hate Shinra and gives you that lust for revenge and justice. Shinra doesnt even care about the citizens of Midgar, one of their main sources of funding. After all, they are essentially an electric company and automobile and weapons manufacturer turned into a political superpower. I would expect them to only have their own best interests in mind and they repeatedly prove that theory to be true.

what terrible decisions first you react to a DLC, without playing the Remake and say you don't know Zack instead of playing the Crisis Core
I don’t know why you’ve assumed I didn’t play FF7R when I make plenty references to it in the video such as being emotional over seeing Jessie wedge and Biggs and recognising Chadley. I guess it’s because I don’t have any videos of it on my channel? I played it before I started streaming sadly. I’ve since gone back and played the original FF7 and all the side games… i understand many people would say to play the originals first but you also have to understand that a big part of remaking a game is to bring it to a modern audience. It’s the reason I tried more final fantasy games and went on to play FF7 OG. The original is now one of my favourite games of all time! Also now having played them all, I don’t even like Zack and crisis core sucks lol
That was not a healthy experience for 16 yo.
