If the Islamic world want peace they can have it. To achieve peace it will have to walk away from violent fundamentalism and embrace a more moderate, secular identity. I grew up in Kenya. Prior to the fall of the Shah in Iran and the birth of fundamentalism, we had a peaceful society with Christians, Jews and Muslims living in peace, respecting each others' faiths. Maybe your message shouldn't be about a separatist Islamic world, but maybe a world where people such as yourself accept everyone of every faith as your brother and your sister.
Muslims believe in Islam not capitalism or communism or any other ideology created by mankind. The muslims objective in life is to do good and forbid evil and this means at every level of human life (I.e personal, family, and societal). You can choose your opinion of what ideological system is most fitting for humanity, but at the end of the day all ideologies are the same and their goal is simple, expansion. Zionism is an expansionary ideology, capitalism, communism as well. My question to you is if your so called moderate secular identity is so great how come for the past 100 years the earth has been on fire. WW1 WW2 and many of the wars after are a direct cause of different secular state ambitions. People think religion has been the cause of bloodshed when in reality the secular countries, empires, and states are responsible for wayyyyyyyy more death and oppression than islam as an ideology has caused. This stance that people should adopt a secular identity is nothing more than an arrogant stance of a group of people who believe humans can one day create a just system for everyone. Sorry to say, but humans have not and will not ever be able to create justice for everyone. The reason you may ask? It’s because humans are finite and limited beings. The only being capable of providing us with true just and fair law is the creator. This is what sets Islam apart from all the other ideological isms. If you do not believe in a creator this is a separate conversation.

It is precisely when we embraced a more "moderate, secular identity" that we got to the state that we're in. Also a reminder that when Islam ruled in the past, Muslims, Christians, and Jews lived together in peace. Islam has forbidden us from attacking or being unkind or unjust to non-Muslims who do us no harm. People have flocked to Islam in waves when they saw the justice of it in the past. Maybe it is a test for Muslims to wake up and be united against common enemies. And He promised Muslims that if we stick to Islam, He will not allow others to oppress us. So if we go back to Islam, God will give us victory. - Either force a surrender, in combat or financially/no more resources.

Every Islamic country other than Iran wants a future with a moderate Islamic world working towards peace. This is a war between a dying fundamentalism and a vision of hope. With Isis, Hamas and Hezbollah gone moderate muslims will be able to enter into a dialogue with their western friends to build an inclusive future for everyone. The motto of the US is (united we stand and divided we fall). This is applicable to all past and future societies. Disunity causes conflict and conflict leads to regress. So if you genuinely wish to push progress to the muslims the way to do so is to remind them of what their history was like (I.e golden age) why we achieved that period of time and also to acknowledge the mistakes and issues that led to the collapse. Once people understand this they can start to rebuild a vision and begin to hope and work for a better and more united future.
