I saw harvey pekar selling his comicd at a convention once and he came across as an ass so i refused to give him 10 bucks for no. 1.
I met him once at a book signing, he begrudgingly shook my hand.
I never met the man.
I just recently watched the American Splendor movie, and the consensus seems to be he was a disagreeable character. You can RUclips his meltdown with Dave Letterman. 😂
