There is no feuding between Ms. Baker and Babyface. It is Ms. Baker and fans. Ms. Baker has a history of being difficult to work with, and her feud with Luther Vandross is legendary. Both artists are legendary, but to call Babyface a supporting act is so disrespectful of Ms. Baker. Babyface has more Grammys and hits than Ms. Baker could ever dream of. Well, it is Ms. Baker's tour and her if her ego wants Babyface gone, then he is gone. However, it is sad that Ms. Baker's farewell tour is going to be remembered more about her Twitter wars with fans than her legendary voice.

The opening act. For all the records you claim he sold they didn’t have his name as the act singing the song. Anita is a headliner. For those of you who would say she is difficult because of the Luther tour, understand Luther gave his guest stars hell if they even looked like that wanted any shine on his tour. His shows were top shelf no doubt. I paid good money to see him cause he brought that fire. But Luther was difficult to work with nevertheless. I enjoy both of them. The tour was billed as Anita headlining and special guest Babyface. If he knew his position then you should respect him for making the bag. Ijs

I like Anita bakers music! But I think, she's got some mental issues that need to be addressed! She's done this before, but worst with Luther Vandrose, he was so hurt by her! Baby face fans are loyal to him. Anita switches up on you at the drop of a hat! On the night of the show, people we're standing in line for 2 long hours, while she stalled the show before her people came out to make the announcement - that Babyface was not performing on the show.........before she talked to Mr. Face about dropping him!
Which made it look like he was a no show, or he was late, or as tho he was the problem! That was an unprofessional and unfair move on miss Baker's part! I think Anita Baker is narcissistic and mean! We love her and her music; but she really needs some mental and emotional help! I think this matter was handled poorly...No artist has any control over their fan's words, actions, behavior n the way the story is reported, it paints Babyface's fans as violent, n ghetto n it' s not as if Face was a hardcore rapper vs a highly successful, pop/R&B songwriter. If Anita believed it necessary to remove him from her tour, why could she not pick up the phone n settle the matter by speaking with him directly vs going this route.
So what happned behind the scenes any one know?
Babyface is a class act. I would say that it’s BabyFace the people really wanted to see. The last time I heard Anita B in concert she sounded as if she took a little nip or two of an adult beverage. It was not one of her best performances. My personal opinion she’s not the singer that she once was.

This is what happens when two people with big egos come together. This is about Anita feeling that she's not enough and had to bring on Baby face who is a megastar in his own right to her tour. They are not friends and clearly do not get along. This is also about Babyface thinking that he's too much of a megastar and is the co-headliner instead of a special guest a k.a supporting act. Both of them have issues. Anita could have toured smaller venues and just enjoyed her shows with her fans who love her like crazy. Babyface could have just humbled himself and enjoyed an arena show that he wouldn't be able to sellout by himself. All the best to both. Sad to see two adults who have not dealt with their inner issues and now those unaddressed issues are spilling out in public.

Her so called, beef with Luther Vandross is legendary. I've never heard her say anything about it, but he did speak on it. He said all he did was asked her if they could do a duet together because he was touring with her and she said no. From the way he told it, people who were around at the time, took it, blew it way out of proportion and it became bigger than what it was. I've heard about her attitude, and I don't know her personally but LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her music and Babyface's too. I don't even think he has anything to do with what his fans are doing. its really weird because baby face is just a special guest/ opening act. He was late for minutes, the show didnt started yet when he arrived and they announce he wont be performing, he was not even allowed to go on stage to explain. How much long can an opening act will eat in an 2hr show? they could choose to give him even 2 mins song. But its anitas anger management that she cant allow her to come out. Not for 2 mins. The fans already waited for hours. Fans was there. They got common sense too. Anita could allow her even 2 mins since he is already paid too
