Mira Garkova woke up from a terrible dream and felt an evil presence in her room. Dark forces seemed to be closing in all around, and terror gripped her. She and her husband, Michael, had traveled with our AWR team to Zambia to hold an evangelistic series, and the devil wasn’t happy.
Have you ever been confronted by demon possession? If so, you know what the Apostle Paul was talking about when he said, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Demon possession is prevalent in many countries-including right here in America. But often, the more advanced a society, the more polished Satan’s schemes so that his influence goes undetected.
Ellen White wrote years ago: “Could our eyes be opened, we should see forms of evil angels around us, trying to invent some new way to annoy and destroy us. And we should also see angels of God guarding us from their power; for God’s watchful eye is ever over Israel for good, and He will protect and save His people, if they put their trust in Him. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.” (Early Writings, p. 60)
What a wonderful promise! Yes, there is evil all around us-but there are angels of light by our side watching us every step of the way! That’s what Mira and Michael learned through their terrifying experience. They came out triumphant, their faith strengthened, because with God by their side, Satan is a defeated foe!
There is no higher calling than being on the front lines of evangelism, right where the battle is fiercest-and where God’s power is greatest.

Awesome! These two couples from Bulgaria was with us during 1000 missionary visit from England to Philippines! They were with us preaching the gospel at one of the government school in San Fernando City, La Union. His husband is Michael Garkov. Along w/ them is their daughter w/ other youths & adult missionary volunteers from Europe. I couldn't believe they continue their missionary in Africa! God bless you & your family! May The Good Lord continue to strengthen your faith!

Lord Jesus are there any good Christain men left who have defeated the devil, or are all the good men taken by all the good women. Lord Jesus where is my hunsbend, who is not divorced, has not been in jail, does not do drugs, who s not a cheater who runs around on women, and is not abusive or manipulating, who grew up in the Seventh Day Adventist Church, lives in the country and does not what anything do with city living except for being a witness for Jesus Christ, and is not satanicly possed.
