One of the most moving stories we have shared is that of Wisam Ali, an Arab born to a powerful Muslim family. The circumstances of his life are both heart-wrenching and deeply inspiring.
Like a brand plucked from the fire, God took Wisam from the life that he knew, and shaped him into what He wanted him to be. Today Wisam is an Adventist pastor ministering to the Arab community in Israel.
His story is still ongoing, and his ministry is an adventure of faith. Wisam has partnered with Adventist World Radio to take the Adventist message to the Arab world-and the miracles continue!
Here is the first installment of Wisam’s incredible journey of faith and victory in Jesus. God is calling people from every nation, kindred, tongue and people-all who are willing to respond and unite in proclaiming that Jesus is coming soon! And that’s what AWR is all about!

What a wonderful story and specially the amazing idea of teaching English straight from the Bible. I believe the children would have been greatly blessed. Finally after watching this inspiring story, I broke down into tears and pray to God to use me as well for His cause. I prayed to God to use my hands to open the Bible, my eyes to look at it, my mouth to read it, my brain to store His words, My ears to listen to and legs to go and preach. I know, that one day I will also face trials from my family and friends, but I believe in God, He will make a way where there seems to be no way. AWR kindly pray for me, I wish to work one day for you in my own community. May your channel inspire and change many people.

I had the privilege of visiting Israel and Nazare in 2009. We went with Pastor Teofilo Ferreira who was director of the Adventist Mission in Israel for 8 years. my daughter was baptized in that same river Jordan that you see in the video. I was very moved by the story and testimony of this man. unfortunately Pastor Teofilo Ferreira passed away in 2020. Jesus will come back soon! keep up the good work 🙏

We especially ask for your Holy Spirit to guide us in everything we do. Lord, oftentimes we neglect Your voice and do what we desire that lead us to our destruction.
