How to crochet KOALA - make your teddy by yourself 😉

- Hi guys, in this tutorial i would like to show you how to crochet koala bear. This is beginner friendly tutorial.
You'll need one ball of chenille yarn.

Small piece of fluffy yarn:

safety eye buttons if you want (1.5 cm) amzn.to/33eBulS
yarn needle, stitch marker, pair of scissors, sewing thread (sometimes it is better for sewing of individual parts) and pins with large head.

Make the head how I said in koala video and sew the head to the neck like this. The first round is in front (nose part) and the last round of the head has to be in back.
On the head do I increase to what number 7? Then do a few more then decrease?

I am a beginner and it was very hard to keep up. Some subtitles would be appreciated. I had to stop mid way because mine looed nothing like the video bc I was not understanding the directions

Hello, you can use thicker yarn and 6,5 or 7 mm crochet hook. The yarn is called Velutto from Alize brand ;)

How on earth is this beginner friendly when it doesn’t show how to make the head. My dear , some beginners don’t know how to make the head which I can say it is pretty difficult when you don’t know much about crochet. I was disappointed with the video. Plus I wish you would tell us how many stitches are left and how you count them. Your tutorials I am afraid are not so easy to follow. I love your work and I think you are very very talented but I feel sad because your tutorials are so hard to follow. 😞

I am an Australian and they are called Koalas, NOT Koala Bears. Geeze.
Hello to Australia, thank you for that information. I am czech. I know my english is not good but I think it is enough for understanding of pattern. In czech language it is koala bear. Now I will remember it is just koala when the koala bear sound weird.
People just can't get it that a Koala isn't a bear! 'oh, but it's cute and cuddly, it is therefore a bear' ugh!! These days, people just decide they can't be bothered and make things up to suit themselves.
@@tommyssheep doesn't change the fact (scientific /genus) that a Koala isn't a bear. If you teach a skill, it's better to teach a correct one so as to not mislead people.

Easy to follow until you said no head. I made a bear head it was wrong. Need to spiral in front of face. I’m experienced enough to figure it out but I like to follow.
I hope you won’t do that again. Tell us the whole thing not make us search for a head no knowing if it’s right.

I’m looking for a prince the musician doll to make. If you can figure it out I have pictures but the girl didn’t make a pattern. She put together from different ones.
