It honestly astonishes me how a luxury SUV that starts at $55,000 does not have blind-spot monitoring. Brands like Honda and Toyota include a lot of safety features standard on all of their vehicles.
Its unacceptable that in 2020 this luxury brands keep charging additional for safety features when almost all brands from half the price are putting all the features standard in all levels
Maserati is nicer than both and they build the (most awarded suv ever) Jeep Cherokee on the same assembly line directly after the 6 figure luxury vehicle. They merged companies in 2014 and build both vehicles in the same factory The Dodge Charger/Challenger was 90% the same as the Maserati Ghibli as well and built off that $80,000 luxury platform
You're the very first reviewers who correctly called it a head up display (vs the incorrect head's up display). And yes, I hate either fake exhausts or no exhausts. This is not an electric vehicle so it by necessity must have an exhaust. Show it and make it look and sound good. Only major downside for me is the severe reduction in front storage space. That might almost be a deal killer for me. Nice review.
Awesome video as always! I think the 2020 mid-cycle refresh of the Audi Q7 makes it even more of an obvious choice in the mid sized luxury SUV class!😸😸😻😻
Nice detailed review compared to most average videos out there that skim over the specs without going into details. The interior is stunning. I still feel the instrument panel is overly complicated to operate with ease but much better looking than my 2015 Q7. Keep the videos coming!
i would love it if when you guys review a vehicle equipped with ventilated/cooled seats you mentioned how effective the cooling actually is. I live in a hotter climate and it would be so convenient to know this prior to purchasing or leasing a car.
Great review guys. The Q7 looks fab but I'm not a fan of touch screen heating controls. It can be difficult to change heating in traffic or at speed without looking down constantly. Guess that's what the auto brake function is for! :-)
You must be a Redline Reviews fan (actually I am too but his childishness is starting to grate on me). That guy can't do a review without complaining about a vehicle that doesn't offer red seats.
My VW tiguan has 12 way power adjusting seats standard in my trim level, but you have to pay to get more ways of adjustment on the top of the line audi q7
I can actually answer this question having owned the 2019 Q8 without air suspension and now the 2020 Q7 with the air suspension; I can without a doubt say there is a noticeable difference in ride quality.
Hey guys....that's a classy interior for sure. You looked great driving it too !! Great review as always. I love Audi, but the reliability keeps me looking and finding :) elsewhere. Perhaps it will continue to get better. Have a great weekend ! :)
How could they make the arm rest on the door panel soft touch plastic!! Even my VW tiguan Has leather arm rest that wasn't optional to get it without soft touch plastic
I just bought a 2020 premium plus, in unable to get my Android auto to work wirelessly only with the USB plug, and the service guy said 250 to have someone link me with the car how they do when pistaches from the dealer

Beautiful intro but you got something wrong...this gen Q7 came out 5 years ago, not 3. Also this refreshed Q7 looks more like the 1st gen Q7...which is a GOOD thing.
We just bought a 2018 Q7 and love it. Personally, I hate the piano black and don’t want huge touchscreens over buttons. I don’t like the refresh. Comes down to preference, though.
Drew Blessing completely disagree. I test drove a 2017 (identical to the 2018) and found the whole interior to feel so much more dated than the new one. The new one is so much nicer. The 2017 and 2018 models look like a big station wagon, and that’s mainly what kept me from buying the Q7. The new one is definitely improved.
Bottom line, the Q7 was way past its due date for a refresh, esp the entertainment system. They may have gone a bit overboard with button reduction but otherwise it was way behind the curve, even in the Audi lineup.
Guys in audi you did level sound in speed (( 48 )) km/h not in 55 you should do it in every car on same speec or make it in 60 mile ,,, because you did it in Lincoln corsair on 56 mile its about 54 so if you did it for lincoln as same as audi speed it will be about 50
Why are the exhaust fumes coming out under the exhaust tips at 0:09 ? Oh right... it’s fake. But in all honesty, it looks a lot better than the previous fake exhaust design.
The X5 with the least 3rd row space had 2 blower vents with controls and USB charging ports, this Q7 doesn't have any of those and how come it's an X7 competitor
Don't get me wrong, Audi's are amazing vehicles and they're up there with the best. But in the end, it's all about preference. I personally don't like Audi vehicles except the R8 (that's the only car I love from Audi). But when it comes to SUVs and sedans, I prefer BMW or Mercedes.
Yeah it looks good but I see a lot more people buying the Genesis G80. That vehicle is stunning and is not more than $65000 fully loaded. Also I think that the new Acura MDX is going to step up in a major way. Either way it’s just hard to spend $70000 + for a vehicle with very questionable reliability and repair cost. Although most people drive these vehicles do lease them.
I had a 2017 Q7, and loved the car except for a few issues: it ate tires for lunch. Expensive, $1800 for all tires. The driving experience was meh..... it accelerated well only if you really buried your foot. The second row seating was generous and comfortable. Worst thing? The 4 wheel drive! While decelerating, it can make you feel car sick. All four wheels are full power, and that really lurches you forward. I had passengers make comments. The BMW X5 has a rear bias 4 wheel drive that does NOT make you feel like this.
I feel like this is going to come off as negative but it is not meant to be that way. Given the minuses you mentioned (esp the AWD performance), why didn't you just buy a car instead of an SUV? I'm actually looking at the new Q7 so I am certainly not saying you should not have bought an SUV.
Alex Stickney well, I’ve had SUV’s for the last 15 years, so I want the same. I’m too tall for most cars. I came from BMW (4 different X5) and thought I’d try the Audi because it’s great on paper. It’s a great car, but the tire wear and the AWD performance is a deal breaker. Oh! I had the Prestige pkg..... that has all the cameras. Want to know how much the dealer charges for an alignment? It’s 7 hours they quoted and $1200. I’m back in a New BMW, with its more sporty rear biased 4wd and very happy with it.
Another great review gentlemen! Too busy looking dashboard for me. And how about you pull over and stop the next time an emergency vehicle approaches. Regardless that it’s heading in the opposite direction, you don’t know where they are going...sorry..had to mention it though. 🤗
Drew and Mason were in no way impeding the fire truck which was obviously travelling in the opposite direction. STFU and just enjoy the video, Dudley Do-Right 😖😖
The Q7 rivals the X5 and GLE there are optional 3rd rows available on the X5 and GLE while they're standard in the Q7 Plus the Q8 competes the x6 and GLE couple, Audi doesn't have an SUV to compete X7 and GLS 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Sameer N ok, enough with your stupid biased car brand crap. They both excel in different areas. Audi’s usually have the better interior and confort, while bmws usually have the nicer exteriors, more tech and better driving dynamics.
Suryateja GT you’re an absolute, complete and utter moron. BMWS HAVE THIS AMAZING THING CALLED XDRIVE. there are very few bmws sold now without xDrive. I’ve also owned 3 Audi’s with Quattro and 2 BMWs with XDRIVE, and they are literally the same. Cannot feel a difference when in the snow or trying to get traction. Look it up, Xdrive and Quattro are virtually the same in terms of quality. In fact, I got stuck in my 2010 Audi Q5 with Quattro much more than I have with my 2016 BMW X5, which HAS xDrive. Plus, you are completely and utterly wrong about the driving experience. It has hit me that you are either a 5 year old kid who is also an Audi fanboy, or you are an adult that drives some crappy car and has never driven and Audi or a BMW, because they both drive amazingly well. Plus, you seem to be the only person stupid enough to think Audi’s look better than BMWs. Just compare my X5 to this new Q7 since they are competitors, look how hideous and bloated the Q7 looks.
Facelift looks weird, front looks way too busy and bonnet doesn’t close properly, big gap. Looks like a q5 when you pay for a Q7. Car now lost its dominate grill surround because only Q8 allows to have the strong looking front grill. In real life the facelift looks very small and cheap compared with the pre-facelift(especially the sq7). As the proud owner of a 2018 Q7 Prestige and a 2018 Q5 premium plus also and been extremely happy with both (except depreciation).....the best, in my opinion MMI, visual cockpit, temperature controls, touch pad etc, I am asking myself: what IDIOTIC group of interior designers and board overseen mid-cycle "upgrades" decided to take the best until 2018 interface and turn it into this 2 touchscreen "child's play" ...thing that is sitting too low, u have to take ur eyes off the road and the "aging" population with neck issues, that buys or can afford to buy this class of vehicles new. The only thing that needed improvement were the front cup holders. Don't even fit a water bottle. Everything else was/is perfect. In the words of a philosopher in marketing: "Do not make any changes that do not improve the product, make the customer happy.....don't use "experts".".
This car is a total waste of money. I bought the SQ7 Vorsprung (2019) new model and the car had a serious fault as the radar behind the rear view mirror could over heat and smoulder on the dashboard. Audi kept it quiet as much as they could ( just like the emissions). I ended up rejecting the vehicle as the customer service from audi uk and the dealership was really really poor. It’s a great shame as I’ve owned a number of Audi’s.
So if Audi does indeed follow your recommendation and immediately fires its entire design team, how do you feel their unexpected loss of job income would affect their respective spouses and children?
I don't like it. The Q8 looks better. But we all know, just like BMW, Audi's are not reliable. It's sad that the more expensive the car, the more issues and unreliability. I don't understand why that is.
The real truth.... Most luxury brands don't sell enough models in the brand to upgrade quality when things break in quantity. Toyota sells a ton of most of their models to make production quality changes during a style run. Same with Honda, Hyundai, and others. They can make money on quantity, quality, and/or markup. Luxury brands typically only have the last, markup. The "lesser" brands have more of the first two and not so much of the last. Take your money to the brand you know has what you want of those three.
Audi really killed it with this new Q7. I love it, along with the older Q7 TDIs!
just missing 3rd sunroof autopilot and remote parking that x5 has but missing 3rd sunroof
Great Video! The New Q7 is a huge upgrade to the older Q7 that got outdated quickly by other cars in the Audi lineup.

Hate the exhaust enough to not consider it.
the dashboard looks too complicate
The more expensive your German car or suv is the more it will depreciate.🤪
Front end looks cheap and weird
Like your mom
Touch controls ugh 😩
Are you stupid? It's 2020
Better than BMW X5
Headlights not make it luxury..
looks like Bentayga
F*ing hell that grill is massive. Nearly as bad as the BMW x7
The Refresh needs a Refresh... Audi sure has fallen behind... Audi needs to fire their entire design team
That's definitely not true, they are more expensive to fix but cheaper cars breakdown more often.
