Kedai Kopi Soon Yuen! One of our favourite kopitiams when we were in Georgetown - The koay th'ng was so good we not only immediately ordered an extra bowl, but this was the only place we went back to in our short stay. Also loved the curry mee and the Uncle at the char koay teow stall told us about a famous roast duck place a few doors down - We were too late the first visit but when we went back, we were early enough and he got half a duck for us. It was indeed, delicious! Seeing it again has brought back many happy memories - And it makes me look forward to going back! 🥰 Thank you again for another great video and for sharing with us your time with your kids. Oh! And I hope your wife feels better soon! (I know I would if I was brought back Hokkien mee and chee cheong jook!) 😄
Cheers for a great video . I'm coming to penang for 3 days and going to thailand for 3 days . Im thinking of cancelling thailand and be in penang for 6 days before going to taiping , ipoh and kl . Great video mate . Love the atmosphere at chowrasta .
Thailand has its attractions, Hatyai isn't too far away but avoid going on weekends. If you haven't been, perhaps 2D1N might be fun, although you might get tired of sitting in a car for too long. The scenery on the way, passing through Kedah is also nice, with the rice fields and kampungs. I have some videos of Hatyai, Taiping, Ipoh and KL too, some are quite old and might be dated... I guess it is just what you want to see. Taiping and Ipoh are laid back towns, KL is bustling and exciting.

So this time I'm quite excited to go to Penang . As for Dannok I have a friend who is a mechanical engineer and he's helping out to build a latex glove factory there . The company hails from Ipoh and I watched a clip on you tube about water view restaurant this is where you food is served on a speed boat straight to where you are sitting 😀. So I thought why not . My only worry is I might be able to get tickets for the trip there . If I can't so be it . Thank you for your good advice . Love your videos by the way .
Famous Duck meat Koay Teow Thng and very black sauce Wan Than Mee. Chee Cheong Fun also good. This also my favourite stall in Chow Rasta market. Just outside this shop, got one stall selling Economy Char Bee Hoon. I usually will order all above mentioned foods.😋

Oh not at all bro, if you watch towards the end, there is a bus stop No. 8 from Weld Quay to Komtar on the free shuttle service. Otherwise just walk along Penang Road towards Komtar until you reach Chowrasta Market in the morning... Jalan Kuala Kangsar is just behind the market. The market itself is a gem, must walk around in the morning and eat there too! You can park your car at the Chowrasta Market public multi-storey carpark too on the right side of the building, where the "Ais Tingkap" stall is located.
Hahahaha they have their ups and downs. Of course they need to be checked sometimes when they get too excited and run around. The important thing is to discipline them and teach them the proper way to act in public. But they generally are OK so I can bring them out by myself and handle them without problems, camera or no camera. They do behave better with the camera, I must say LOL
I Can't understand some comments asking you to get a bowl or order whatever Isaac wants to eat 🤦♂️... He's still a child, how can he finish by himself. Last last you have to eat all to prevent wastage... What you are doing now is correct. Let the kids share. Maybe next time, probably you can order an empty bowl so Ailsa can scoop some noodles over to Isaac for a smaller portion.. so 2/3 for Ailsa, 1/3 for Issac and the Dad doesn't have to force to finish their meals 😆
