Hi Just what I was looking for. One Question if I want to turn on and off the landing lights and navigation lights independently, do I need 2 switches or one switch can controll 2 sets of lights individually. Thanks for your answer
Do you think this would work connected into a landing gear switch via a Y lead? So say when you select gear down the lights come on and when you selected gear up they go off?
Do you know of anyone doing this? It sounds like a really cool idea but I doubt streamed video would look very good. Streamed video is usually heavily compressed. The compression algorithm assumes most of the images isn't changing. Video from a quadcopter would be a huge challenge to stream with low latency and high quality. Still, I'd like to see something like this myself.
I'm looking for how to on/off switch WITHOUT rc switch in order to don't consume whole dedicated channel on my 4-ch system for light control. Is it possible somehow to provide light module with signal and power like it would come from receiver, but in fact directly from BEC and controlled by some physical switch?
You could probably set that up using multiple switches and an OpenTX mix but I'm sure I've seen more complex switches in the past (used for things like R/C trucks)..
This one will operate 4 functions sequentially with a single toggle switch on the radio: hobbyking.com/en_us/dr-mad-thrust-4ch-electronic-on-off-switch.html I've also seen a 7-channel version of it but couldn't find a link for it.
Yet again, was wondering how to switch my leds on/off using the TX. And here you are with a video explaining it. Thank you
That's actually really useful! 😃
Thanks a lot, Lee! I already have some ideas for it! 😃
Thank you! This is exactly what I was looking for!
Thanks for my stickers!
You're welcome! Thanks for being a Patreon! :)
@@Painless360 I was mildly satisfied this weekend that Frank's attempt to fly my wing also terrified him.
Ping me on Patreon if you still have questions..
@@Painless360 Will do. All part of the fun.
great tips as allways buddy
Hmm...this gives me some ideas for Halloween too...
what have you got in mind ?

It depends on how they are wired up, I'd expect to have one switch per 'function'', best of luck!
Another excellent video 👌
Isn't the power of the LEDs delivered from the BEC? Some switches connect to the battery directly.

Yep, you could do that... Happy flying
Can you show how to control a quadcopter using 4g, and transmitting the fpv camera signal via 4g too
Do you know of anyone doing this?

I've only seen Parrot mods for that. Not for conventional fpv and RC control..
I saw someone doing this using raspberry pi
good morning from greece
Hello! :D

If you figure out a way to do that, let me know
could something like this be used to switch power on a VTX?
Possibly. I'd check on the amp draw that the VTX needs..
I'm curious as to how you got "Disarmed" to show on your Taranis display. (Patreon)
Flight modes on the radio changed by a throttle override switch.. Happy flying!
Could always do it old fashioned way by using g A servo and witch but that takes up more room
Witches do take up alot of room ;)
@@seantheberge5456 Not when there a RC witch
Do you have any Video about
RC plane building?.....
Loads - check out the channel..
How can you make this work with FrSky Xm+? I want to be able to turn lights off & on from my Transmitter/radio.
If you have a flight controller in the model then look at channel forwarding to bet a PWM outputs you can use for this.. Best of luck!
Is there anything like this which will work with a rotary switch on the transmitter to turn on multiple circuits in sequence?

Hi
Still searching to switch video tx power like this on smartaudio ......
See my Crossfire video from The weekend..
I could not get this to work with s6r or 8sr but would work ok with x8r any ideas
I've never tried it with an S6R.. Not a fan of them myself. Best of luck!
