One special request... Please add the expandable and minimizable panels to the right bar just like the Adobe photoshop... you can expand the panel you use and then click the small arow to get it squizzed in the right side.
Hello, thanks for your good videos! I am suprised my 22mb geonames CSV-file converts to a ESRI_Shapefile which is 450mb huge. Can you advice what would be a good casual file format to save it in instead without wasting space?
shape is not very efficient as it reserves a lot of memory. CSV on the other hand is very efficient in that regard. you might try geopackage, or if it isn't a lot of features geojson. don't count on a result close to 22 Mb, but it should be far from 400!
