Thank you for not dragging this out to 9 minutes
Thank You!!! Super easy but I would have never figured that out on my own!
It still has a orange triangle in that little menu
Thank you so much! I was getting quite annoyed with this always popping up!
Welp hopefully you got your car serviced? 5000 miles the maintance message will come up for oil change and tire rotation along with other things to check, your manual or toyta app will have all the info
Me too save me a trip
Don't even have to stop or backup the video, perfect directions!
Thank you!!! Helped me do this in 1 minute. Just got my oil changed and forgot to ask them to help me do this.
My question is, it still pops up even after re-setting it.
Carmax AND Toyota have both reset it and it still comes back on after a day or so any ideas?
Oil is good
let me know if you solved the problem im having the same issue
Thank you so much for this video! they usually reset it for me at the dealership but not at any other garages I had no idea how to do it
Is there a way to see oil percentage on the Corolla ?
I’ve been suffering for months looking at that damn maintenance required knowing damn well no maintenance is required. And you’re telling me it was this easy to reset?! Anyway thank you.
Mine is still on 😭😭
I recently took my car in for service and the dealer didn’t reset it, I was very annoyed at it constantly popping up. Thank you very much!
Glad I found this! Toyota usually does this for you but recently they haven’t been
Perfect. Simple. Exactly what I needed. Thank you!
Thanks bro. This also worked for my wife's 2022 Toyota Corolla Cross.
With COVID, I've put very few miles on my car. This helps me skip the 5000 "maintenance" visit. Thanks a bunch!
Thanks alot

So is there any way on these cars without push start to turn off the seatbelt noise. I wear my seat belt but if someone is in the back seat this thing goes off if they place a bag on the seat and it’s driving me crazy as I do Uber and Lyft and have people in my car all the time. Please help.
I did it already but the message it’s still there. What should I do?

I am sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. This is the same procedure I have used many times. I guess you might try it again?
Best of luck to you.

Great video!
Thank you!
Just did the oil change and the maintenance required light still stays on any ideas?
You have to reset the light by yourself like the video just show you
Uh that's the whole point of this video. Watch it again. Do you have the same car? This is 2020 corolla. Try it again and make sure to push and hold on the final setting. Unless your check engine light is on also, this will reset it
@@jmabs5096 I already did the oil change but the maintenance required light is still on, I have done the reset several times but it still appears, I have a toyota corolla 2020 se 2L night
@@josegodoy7607 sounds like you may have a stored error code, I would have it scanned by a auto store or dealership. Not sure the criteria for maintance record message but I belive it's just mileage based notifications on common maintance items.
An error code would result in an engine light on the dash, if it says "engine maintenance required, visit your dealer" on the dash, it most likely requires actual engine maintenance, which could include transmission fluid change, spark plug replacement and testing of some components on or around the engine with a professional scan tool to make sure everything is working as it should. the only way to remove that message is if you own a professional scan tool yourself, or it would have be to taken to the dealership to have them look over it or your trusted mechanic to remove the message. 👍
