There's situations I would rather have the ball in Perry's hands than Cam or Eric's. I'm not sure y'all are aware of how fast PT really is. Good luck tackling him one on one. PT is a physical freak.
I hope they spread it around. I'd love to see all our WRs get at least 6-8 catches per game. They need to be involved to contribute and to feel needed and important to the success of the team. I don't want any of them to be unhappy about sitting on the bench. They're all talented. Give them all a chance to shine. WDE!
@ericpearson881 All of these WRs better get plenty of action or else they will transfer, which I would HATE to see. It will be difficult for Freeze to find the right "formula" to keep these very talented young men happy at Auburn. They all, I'm sure, have big egos and also want to get the attention of the pros with big reception stats. Can't blame them, their future depends on it. Be prudent, Coach Freeze!!
@stevencryar8595 You put the "cry" in cryar!!! I get it. I've been an Au fan since 1957, probably a LOT longer than you, and I've ALMOST had to check out emotionally COUNTLESS times over those many years of getting my hopes up, only to have them dashed. But there's something about Auburn, when you least expect it, miracles DO OCCASIONALLY HAPPEN! However, being an Auburn fan is not for the faint of heart. Don't give up, Steven. It's always darkest before the dawn, and I feel a new , brighter dawn is coming!!! Keep the faith!! WDE!!!
@telbon8869 I hear ya I started following Auburn during the barfield era I was a season ticket holder for 20 years till they priced me out college football is totally different nil and all no loyalty I'll keep my head I always will be a Auburn fan till death wde
whatever they do, have a freaking plan in the red-zone because we had some good Te's and didn't use them effectively which is a shame, that being said I can't see us not use more 4-5 wide and 3x1 sets
You don’t think throwing fades to a WR is a red-zone plan? 😅 I’m with you. A run fake on the two yard line with a bootleg to a TE who chips and hits the flats or leaks to the goal post is hard to defense
Rivaldo couldn’t run block to save his life. We will be fine without him. IMO we need a little more 10 personnel in the passing game. And when we go 11 or 12, we need a TE who can run block his butt off, and slip into the flats or run a solid stick route and get 7 yards. Also, are we sure that Singleton is #2? Seems like everyone assumes he is KLS 2.0. I hope he is, but I watched his highlights from the last few years and he doesn’t deem to have the same stuff as KLS. I’m not even convinced that he is better than Simmons. Maybe we use them all efficiently and creatively…
Wait a minute...what is this TE you speak about? We have those? 5 not enough? You have 5 and maybe 6 RB's you can't get enough carries for, plus the Freeze 4, 2 Transfers and 3 freshman at WR you can't get enough receptions for and you want another TE? What are we doing?
Go pay a TE some of the money we “saved” on Naheem Offert(spelling?). TE’s aren’t really expensive. We knew Fairweather was going to be an NFL caliber guy and he didn’t get a huge NIL deal.
Baylor is not a team to take lightly. They were 8-5 and have a lot of guys returning. Auburn should beat them yes, but wouldn't surprise me if they kept it close.

he’s the derrick henry of receivers

I believe Hollis Davidson can provide a threat early as a 6’6 big slot/tight end, especially if they can put an extra 10-15 pounds on him by fall
Zac these hoodies! I need a locked on Auburn and that light blue barn hoodie!!!! War Eagle!!
Auburn gear is about to be insane this season 💪🏽. WDE
We don’t need to replace we need to evolve
Until they prove it i believe it will be another sub par season
@stevencryar8595
What you believe is irrelevant. None of us KNOWS what will happen.
Just sit back and wait!!
@telbon8869 put it this was way I checked out emotionally with this football program can't handle unnecessary let downs

B Frazier is probably the best tight end in the sec
WDE!
Wides-v-TE as influencers…wides have to open the underneath or the D stacks and it’s too crowded inside of the QBs first look zone.

I'd rather just take those receptions and give them to Coleman and Singleton. We have a MUCH bigger need at DT and Linebacker.
@@johncrane1594true but having a legit tight end that you have to cover means Coleman and Singleton will get more open looks
We should NOT struggle with Baylor. Period. No excuses. If that happens….heads are going to roll.

Baylor will be no cake walk.
PERRY THOMPSON should move to tight end...he literally blocked better than rivaldo as a true freshman
And he is the same size as Bo Jackson was!
