Totally relate to you, KC. Pinoy kids who grew up in PI have a deep connection to the sea, that's for sure. On school vacays, we would go on road trips with the fam; to the beach in the province, eat sweet mangoes, feast on grilled seafood, rice and fresh veggies, and play with our siblings and cousins till sunset. I now live in Switzerland, a picturesque country surrounded by glistening lakes and grand mountains. But nothing beats smelling the sea breeze, tasting sea water, and the feeling of walking on real sand. I still dream about the beach cottage, the crashing waves lullabying me to sleep. It's a warm autumn now, and this makes me miss the Philippines.
I just love the simplicity of the content of your vlog. not bragging but actually sharing the mundane, down to earth and real life of foreigners in the US...
