In Inuyasha, the protagonist - a girl named Kagome tripped into a really old well, the "Bone Eater's Well", and got sent into ancient feudal Japan when Yokais were prevalently found. She teams up with the half-wolfling Inuyasha to keep evil at bay. Kagome can go back and forth between the eras via jumping into the well. And of course... This well being part of Ina's idea too, so it is naturally also a pun for the word "farewell".

Ame was also responsible for the arrival zone to be the tunnel from Spirited Away. She did a really good job with the tree placement around the landing zone creating a natural barrier by which to "force" new arrivals through the iconic tunnel. 10/10 level design.
Seeing the JP members saying farewells to the EN members as they go back to the JP server by way of the well feels oddly nostalgic... Like seeing the endings of the Chronicles of Narnia when the protagonists are going back to their home world
