Oh, I'd love to see that LNER B12 in original Great Eastern shape! You know, a smaller smoke box, a Belpaire firebox, and the little decorations (?) above the driving wheels. And it would be grateful to see a Claud Hamilton run again. Both of course in that marvelous GE blue...
I would love to see it as well, however 8572 was actually an LNER built engine, rather than a rebuilt GER example. So in the eyes of many and most likely the point of view at the North Norfolk railway, back-dating an LNER locomotive to a period where it never existed with a built-from-scratch boiler and different smokebox, doesn't make much sense. The new built Claud Hamilton I think should be in the GER Blue
@@KPen3750 I know it was built by the LNER, and that's why I'd love to see it in its original GE shape. I don't really like the LNER-built ones. But I see your point. It's just that I think both the Clauds and the S69s look better in their original shape.
This is such a nice loco. I love the livery, really hope it stays in the GER colours for as long as possible.
Pre-grouping liveries are so beautiful

I would love to see that too. The GER is an unfairly overlooked railway and deserves more representation in the preservation community.
These engines look great in blue
The y14 class locomotive kinda looks like a real life Donald and Douglas from the RWS book the twin engines.
They look magnificent in blue.
any footage of her at beamish in 2003? that i would love to see.
You're a really useful railway.
Enjoy the ride.
