Aloha! Your video regarding Buda is very enjoyable and informative to watch. Mahalo all the way over here from Hawaiʻi🤙🏽. I am thinking quite a bit lately about a move to Texas, specifically Buda because I like serene with a lot of green, but I also want my money to go further. Here in Hawaiʻi nei it is stunning and beautiful, but so enormously expensive that it makes me sad. You just really, truly do not get a lot for your money. I’ve been looking at Buda and overall homes are much less expensive and the town of Buda is beautiful, but on Zillow homes in Buda and even Kyle are not as inexpensive as I previously thought. Would you be able to tell me what the median price is for homes in 2021 and also are there homes with at least an acre of land attached or is it all quickly becoming just a big HOA type suburb? Also, I truly and deeply appreciate general kindness and warmth from my neighbors and great customer service in public businesses and sadly Hawaiʻi has all but lost those once great aspects of life here. The aloha spirit is almost nonexistent now. Is southern hospitality alive and well still in Buda? Mahalo for your time and I look forward to reading your reply!
Hi there! It’s so nice to hear from you! Buda is such a lovely town, I truly enjoy it! Very warm, kind people, great community in general. Homes on acreage usually don’t have an HOA, but most communities on smaller lots do. Median home price has gone up unfortunately and it depends on the size of the home. Bigger homes are in the high $400s, low $500s.
Mahalo for your quick reply! My wife and I ideally would be looking for an acre or more. Our ideal would really be to have a small ranch sized lot. I will continue to look though. Our here in Hawaiʻi even high 500’s get you a small town home and that’s a big maybe with the way prices keep going up and up. Most are selling for $600k and over. I really appreciate your time.

Buda is one of my personal favorites!😁
Buda or New Braunfels in your opinion???
Another con is that it is so hot in the summer
Man I fell on the buda park slide and I hate it here
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear that.. :(
How about Property tax rates in Buda
Great question! The new communities are at 2.9-3%, but the older neighborhoods are at 2.5-2.6%.
