Had the privilege of practicing with Mike at the UConn Wrestling Club several years ago. Great guy all around. Glad to see you still involved with the wrestling community!
I really respect you guys for including NC State. I must admit, if they underperform again this postseason, then it's going to be really hard to justify getting them the benefit of the doubt anymore. Feels like they really have to pull it together this year with a lot of other programs getting better
I’m most excited for Buffalo. Vinson went to my HS. Wrestled with his uncle. Graduated with his aunt. Be cool to see if we can get some AA’s out of the MAC agajn?
Yeah I wouldn't describe Greg as "lazy" or "afraid" but you're right he wrestles scared. He's scared to take risks and be offensive/aggressive. He wrestles not to lose
Those who wrestle not to lose often end up losing unfortunately. It’s so frustrating to watch Greg because he DOES have that much offense. He teched Wyatt in the All Star Classic and then wins 1-0 against Feldman, it doesn’t make sense.
I would love for Barraclough to go to UB that is the home team for me. Obviously we can’t land any of the other 2 really big names (Parco and Alirez) since they already have locations, but I think Barraclough could be as high as 4th at NCAAs
According to FLOs predicted OSU and Iowa lineups, I have Okie St. Beating Iowa 19-12 in a dual this year. DT going to supplant the Brands/Iowa in year 1. 🤣
I'm not sure Greg is lazy I think more like he is scared sometimes. Like with Feldman getting closer because he got scared of his down block go behind so instead of just blasting him he was chicken
Yeah I wouldn't describe him as "scared" but you're right he wrestles scared. He's scared to take risks and be offensive/aggressive. He wrestles not to lose
I could agree with that. Although he wrestles very questionably at times. There’s been too many matches where he gets a quick takedown early into the first and then just rides rather than cutting and looking for another takedown, even against wrestlers not as skilled as him.
@@michaellong2595 I’m not sure why he wrestled like he did last year. Even a couple years ago he went for pins, and techs with the 2 on 1 tilt all the time. Kerk is even less excusable than Beau imo because Kerk scores with nearly every shot he takes
Disrepect to the Buckeyes. 😠 The entire starting lineup returns, with six of them coming off their freshmen season. There is also a chance we see Sammy Sasso back in action next year as well.
@@jackmcg0 🤷🏽♂️. Ayala is proven and has Spencer Lee to train with. Lilledahl is a phenom and has already beaten an NCAA runner up in Brandon Courtney who was the starter in place of the current champion. So again, until proven otherwise, to me, it’s Luke Lilledahl v Drake Ayala. Edit: Figs doesn’t have enough offense for me to confidently pick him and be content with it. The other semi finalists are gone. Only Luke Stanich, Jore Volk, and like few others are coming back. But Luke Lilledahl v Drake Ayala is so unrealistic to you? Because….????
@@xzjayz7925 proven otherwise? Ayala has just lost in the finals by a guy who is returning to the weight class. Lilledahl is also quite literally unproven as he hasn’t even had a college match.

It’s tough because year after year, NC State looks like they will do great, but somehow it never really materializes at NCAAs
NC St and Mizz always look good but crash especially by NCAA tournament

WE ARE Penn State and Oklahoma State (mini-Cael's Cowboys lol)
Mini Cael 😂 - I sometimes refer to him as Cael Junior. Lol.

Exactly. He wrestles like he’s content. Dude has all the offense in the world he just needs to turn it on .

Little Rock. Oklahoma state.
Alierez back to COlorado
Happy to see him back

😢😢

Ohio St will contend next season. Hope Sasso returns but I honestly don't think he will
@@PinFall89 I believe Sasso is done
@@StudioStunna28 We probably won't see him on the mat again, but there is a real chance he is back.
Drake Ayala 2025 nCAA d1 125 lb champion
Luke Lilledahl vs Drake Ayala in the NCAA finals for sure.
@@xzjayz7925I wouldn’t say that. Lilledahl hasn’t wrestled a college match yet and Ayala had many close matches.

NC State will once again make no noise come tournament time
Connecticut is a Basketball 🏀 state
I will not stand for this CT slander haha. The best thing about a basketball court is all the room for wrestling mats.
Sleeping 🛌 on vt. Go Hokies
Iowa will finish 2nd place...as always
