Every time he combined high-grade gunpowder with normal gunpowder I died a little...
Nah, he'll take it to the final battle, miss half the shots and have to win the fight with the shotgun.

A developer talked about the bit in the Unreal tech demo where they squeeze through the gap: it was to showcase highly-detailed assets and textures up close, not to hide any loading. They were originally going to have some V.O. to explain, as they knew what people would think, but it was cut in the end

They're both hilarious, and Jane is soo quick witted she had me rofling with her unexpected immediate comments

One word of advice - Make sure the weapon is fully loaded before you store it to switch to a different one. I saw Andy put the shotgun away numerous times with only a few shells in it, and then have to reload in the middle of a firefight. The Hunter fight at 18:32 is an example of this.

Eating lunch so I can’t watch this yet unfortunately, but I just wanna take the time to say thank you to the crew for being so wonderful and fun to watch. And also thank you for talking just loud enough to be able to clearly understand what they’re saying yet not so loud that I can’t hear what’s happening during cutscenes and the like.

While that is hilarious, and I always give him annoying criticism, I really don't want him to be salty about it. I love the whole OXBOXTRA crew so much, but the stuff he does in Resident Evil Let's Plays is just like...unforgivably noob-ish sometimes, and I have to just tell him so he's aware. He's actually good at the games it's not that he's bad, he just makes weird choices and misses items a LOT. Like in this episode when he got killed after he blew up the Hunter Gamma, & then turned around and got eaten; a minute beforehand he was at a Safe Room, and had so many Herbs, First Aid Sprays, Ammo and a Magnum all just chilling in the Crate, and he didn't take anything except for like 1 G+R. Plus after he naded the Gamma he had one nade left, which would've melted that whole group of Zeds that ate him. So of course I wrote him a giant comment, explaining that he is a hoarder and that he needs to stop hoarding lol.

I mean I don't *want* him to be annoyed about it, but acting salty and enraged is always hilarious. Like that stream when he and Jane compared game collection value lol
@@narcspector yeah I think he has admitted to being a hoarder. ;) I can see why that might be frustrating so some types of players. However I also feel like calling something unforgivably noobish is a bit problematic, not so much for Andys sake as a general rule. Gaming should be fun and I think you need to be allowed to make mistakes or even different choices (I think avoiding the first aid sprays is a choice, but I might be wrong) without being scoffed at. I kind of like that they are not always great at all the games they play.
Anyway, your comments have useful information so keep making them, but you know andy will be salty about it. ;)

@@mar_speedman did you know the villain (played by angry moustache guy Begbie or whatever from Trainspotting) in the James Bond movie *The World Is Not Enough's* Bond Villain's gimmick is that he has a bullet that is slowly moving closer and closer to the part of his brain that will kill him, and it gives similar "powers" to AJAX in the 1st Deadpool, like he can't feel pain. Moreover, the closer the bullet gets to his...brain stem(?), the stronger he gets? That motherf***** either has the worst headache, or no headache at all because he feels nothing. I only bring this up because it was just on Caravan Of Garbage, RUclips it if you don't know what I'm talking about it's a great channel/ series.

So fun fact if I remember right the Hunter Beta was developed by umbrella Europe during the events of raccoon city, they were shipped by truck for final field testing. They found their way into the raccoon city hospital and used it as a hunting ground. They mainly hunt zombies. A total of 20 Hunter Beta were shipped to raccoon city USA. Just some fun lore for everybody.

I think the ice-cream magnum is a reference to large champaign bottles used for celebrations being called magnums, thus trying to make the ice-cream sound fancy.

Magnum is originally a wine term, from what I remember. So its probably more likely thay named the ice cream after that. But I like the idea of a company looking at the .44 magnum and going "How can we translate such raw unadulterated power into an ice cream?"

Why are they (the pale heads) naked? Because there's no way you could convince morally dubious scientists to play dress-up with those things. Mr X and the Nemesis, on the other hand, look adorable in their outfits, but of course, the committee had to settle on a black trench coat and bondage leathers. We had so much fun having them try on hats. The Fez was my favourite, but the PC police said it was a harmful stereotype.

I really dig the Andy-Jane playthrough commentaries. Nothing against Mike-his one-liners are still the best in the business-but with only 2 rather than 3, I feel there's a bit more room for A&J to fill the void with their rapid-fire (and often quite silly) zingers.
Good job avoiding the worst death cutscenes in the series Andy (eaten by hunter and head replaced by parasite)! Absolute chillers, those.
Those pale naked ones were in resident evil 2 remake they heal really fast and need high Calibre weapons to kill them before they regenerate completely

I think that's unfair, particularly because of the reference Jane made. That scene is among the most memorable and referenced scenes in the whole franchise, probably behind the original Chestburster.

I always thought that Magnum ice cream was playing on Magnum condoms, I mean they're gold foil packaging is pretty reminiscent of a Magnum condom, I thought that was the whole point lol.
I understood it was just to make it sound expensive and luxurious. It was marketed at adults. One thinks of parties with magnums of wine as something the rich have.
As Blue Coyote said I think it's more to do with fancy wine than rubbers, Though I think the word Magnum means "oversize" a magnum round is typically a conventional size bullet in a larger casing with more propellant, a magnum of champagne is a large bottle and as for condoms..... Well I don't know what to say
We do have the Magnum ice cream in America, and the Magnum condom, and I think they were most likely naming these items because of:

As far as why the name for the condom, the "MAGNUM OPUS" is like the "HUGE/VERY BIG MASTERPIECE" derived from Latin 'Magnus' or whatever. Google helped me with all this. So "MAGNUM Condoms" evokes imagery of MASSIVE C°CK I suppose?
