Bush tried to nominate the first black woman to the Supreme Court and ironically Biden killed her nomination by way of a filibuster. Her name was Janice Rogers Brown. What I expect from our judicial branch of government is good judiciary, and we really haven't had that from SCOTUS for the past 40 or 50 years. For that period we've had from SCOTUS mediocrity (at best), and that is due in large part to bypassing, or outright neglecting a large, highly qualified pool of badly needed talent, i.e. black women, to our detriment. I wholeheartedly agree with Steele.
Well finally someone spoke about this seriousness and didn't chuckle afterwards. Which 99 percent of the time it's been happening. This fight we the people are witnessing is not a laughing matter.

What I expect from our judicial branch of government is good judiciary, and we really haven't had that from SCOTUS for the past 40 or 50 years. For that period we've had from SCOTUS mediocrity (at best), and that is due in large part to bypassing, or outright neglecting a large, highly qualified pool of badly needed talent, i.e. black women, to our detriment. I wholeheartedly agree with Steele.
