You could speed it up by doing more HPDE or being a really talented and aware driver that the in-car and classroom instructors trust to move up faster.

Typical build is 15k-20k USD including the price of the donor car itself and safety gear.
Are superchargers allowed?
Conflicted by the choice to either play along and risk misinforming the masses or not to.
