Thats a nice simple idea. I use a whiskey flask. But that cost a few more dollars then the dollar store glue.

Nalgene small plastic bottles with flip pour top work well and are cheap

I used an old mustard bottle for bar chain oil in my chainsaw to keep from over filling and spilling oil, might also work for alcohol stove
