    Beuty vid! Two quick questions: 2x should give you an aspect ratio of 2.66 - this looks more like 2.40 - did you crop? was there any vignetting with the 35mm?

      The GH4 has a 4:3 mode for shooting anamorphic.

    Amazing work Leonard. Wicked grade! Did you capture at prores 422 with external rec, or was this internal? Great colours throughout dude, loving the orange backpack etc with all the darker blues too! A very warm feeling to Paris.

    This is why I haven't upgraded my GH4 it's an awesome camera and I rather just rig it out and get different lenses. I have used my GH4 for about three and a half years now and it's the coolest camera I just bought the Blackmagic cinema camera to go with it.

    Does anamorphic increase the quality of the image? Footage shot in anamorphic always looks smoother

      Typically anamorphic makes your image a little bit softer and some people think a little out of focus looking. But because you don't have to cover part of your image in post to get the widescreen look you have a higher pixel density so that may help make things look a bit more detailed

      Anamorphitic adapters degrade the quality as it introduces aberrations
      and optical softness, even when the number of pixes captured remains the
      same, the pixels are spread to a wider aspect, so the precived resolution is reduced. Good Anamorphic lenses can cost 80.000 USD. So don't expect miricles from an 700 USD adapter. They are a bitch in handling.

      They are film burns! Look for those. I have made my own using different elements, but you can buy them as well.
