Hey Carshalton. We have 2 record the simple macro into the Mymacro workbook right & copy that macro into the personal workbook. Rather in the video. It is recorded in personal workbook & whatever macro previously exist in the Mymacro is been copied to the personal workbook.

I followed the directions and my macros recording does not appear when i used my personalized command keys... im so frustrated and dont know what the issue is or how to fix it

1st off, go to Developer>Macros (Alt L PM) and see if the macro you recorded is in the list.
If it is not there, try recording it again. If it is, highlight it and then select the 'Options...' box on the right side. Once that is open, you can re-assign the shortcut key by selecting the input box and entering the key you'd like it assigned to (or the 'shift+key').

Absolutely! That functionality is available in the exam. I also think it is valuable to understand where those commands 'live' in the ribbon so that you can access them solely via the keyboard as well.

I do not have a "personal workbook" and I have no option to unhide :S please help

Do you have your developer tab un-hid? To create a personal macro workbook, start recording a macro and in the dialog window that opens up select "Personal Macro Workbook" from the drop-down list under 'Store Macro in:'
This should create the personal macro workbook for you if it didn't exist before.
