I’ve seen 3-4 reviews of the Bataleon Goliath 2024 and you’ve been the only one to comment on the true changes in the 3BT compared to last years as it’s a totally different ride. Great review and hope a lot of people get to see this.
you sir 🙌
Pre-ordered this board from yourselves. Absolutely love it, feel very confident on it and can't imagine I'll outgrow its potential any time soon! Cheers for the board :D
The perfect audience! Thanks for the support Tom!
Advise needed! Great video first off, very helpful. I am undecided between the Goliath and the Goliath+. Ability is good intermediate and only time for a week or two max per season. I venture all over the mountain with only a small % in the park. Is it worth going for the slightly stiffer, beefier board or stick with the og Goliath. Size wise also need help, i’m 185cm, UK 11 and 75kg. This is my first board that i’ll be buying previous years have just been rentals, so looking to get the perfect board to last a while. Legend, thanks!
Additionally have you had a chance to test the beyond medals version? How does it compare
Best review ever
What he said ⬆️ haha thank for the kind words dude! Hopefully people see the video like and sharing also support our Snowboard shop www.s2as.com
Hi, Angelo.
Great review I must say. And I've seen a lot of them. :)
I am a small guy, my weight is only 62 kg, hopefully I'll manage to get to 65. Could I ride 156 or do I really need 153 size?
Thanks a lot for help!
D.
Nice review and thank you for all the information. I have a question about the size of the snowboard. You said because of the 3bt you can ride is 3cm shorter than usual, why is that? I'm 193cm tall but only weigh 81kg, so I'm tall but don't weigh a lot... boot size 43 (which is 10 in US).
What size should I get? The 159? Or 161w ?
Hi ok super easy Your height will not matter it is all about your weight, (A snowboard's flex does not know how tall you are, But it does know how heavy you are) 159cm all day long, as for your feet size a standard width will be fine no need to go for a wide model. I hope this helps you. - s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-goliath-mens-snowboard
Great video as always mate🤟🏼 I’ve decided on this board as I’m intermediate looking to progress, could you advise what board I’d need please, I’m 5’11, 85kg and size 10 uk. TIA👊🏽
Uk10 boot go for a 158 wide if you have a high volume boot.
Helpful review! I'm 2 meter tall, 95 kg and 13US, should i got for the 164w or 167w?
95kgs go for the 161W 167 with triple base tech is a lot of board for riders around 110kgs. here you go: s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-goliath-mens-snowboard
thanks for answering!@@S2AS
I'm 180.5cm and about 79-83kg. Boot size is between 10 - 10.5 US (about 43.5 Euro). I'm thinking 156 as an all-mountain where I will am learning to butter as well. Is that too small for me?
Two Q’s: 1) I normally ride a 155. Would you suggest this in a 153 or a 156 for me? (162 lbs, size 9 boot). And 2) What would you recommend between this and the Whatever? I know the Whatever has more pronounced 3BT, but I’ve never ridden 3BT. Thanks 🙏
These are completely 2 different boards in the Bataleon range. Sent us an email on shop@s2as.com and we can guide you the best we can.

I see the 20y Goliath behind you. I bought it and waiting to use it early feb. is it the same as this Goliath?
I saw another RUclipsr say the 20y couldn’t get speed compared to this Goliath; of course I saw it after I got home haha
It is exactly the same specs, just with a different graphic
Great video What size do I need I’m a skateboarder but still learning on snow, I can pop a few small jumps, im 95kg 6,3 and size 10.5 uk which is 11.5 us.
i would say 164W or 167W ... it depend if you also ride park. Mine is a 153cm (the smallest) (im 5,7) and it end at my mouth. i ride park and mountain overall.
Well I would go for a wide board at 10.5 but only because of your skate skills, so you should have good board skills. As for length I would push you towards the 161W the reasons for this is simple. The longer board you buy the harder it will be to link your turns and it’s better to make that as easy as possible to help you progress faster. Also triple base boards ride around 3cm bigger on Powder due to the uplift.
I hope I’m not too late in my reply as looks like I missed your reply. - s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-goliath-mens-snowboard
Great content!
Im really torn between this, the Goliath plus and the jones all mountain.
I'd say im an adventurous piste rider, seeking out natural features and side hits for jumps. But not really a park rider. Don't mind hitting the blacks, and getting some speed up carving but when I'm slower with the kids and in the slushier stuff want to be able to have some fun with butters and popping ollies. My 10+ year old Head transit (camber) I find fighting against me more than working with me. I'm intermediate, but as an older rider, any help the board can give is great!
I was eying the disaster+ and whatever, but was worried I'd less secure carving, icy runs and steep pistes. But I want something playful also.
Goliath and the Jones seem to hit the sweetspot and either would be an upgrade to my older beginner focussed board. Which would you go for?
And then there's the goliath plus, would it be too stiff for buttering with occasionally?
6ft 1, 88kg Im leaning towards a159 with the goliath. But maybe 156 is enough. Any tips welcome!
Super easy your exactly the same weight as me and also described my riding I too have an 11 year old boy I sometimes go with. For me it’s a no brainier I already have the Goliath plus and the 159 is the perfect size for 88kgs.
It great and super fast when it wants to be but also forgiving. Yes you can butter and press at slower speeds the belly is stiffer then the tip and tail. So yeah as an all mountain killer it wins all day long.
I hope this helps. Angelo
I am 181cm and 85 kg, goliath plus 161w suited very well. I but plus version is stiff, I can't be butter. Plus Suitable for very fast riding and strong legs.
I sold the plus version and I am waiting next year goliath, green color this year is not my taste.
By the way, Jones stratos 162cm is a very good powder piste board for my size
@@S2AS I ended up with the plus. I couldn't from your store in the end due to import costs, but great advice and response and I'd love to support you next I'm in UK or can order to a UK address.
Compared to my previous beginner orientated board, after a week on it with Nidecker supermatic bindings my overall impression is that it's a board that likes to be ridden quite hard. I could cruise at a slower pace with the youngest kids, but it's not doing much at these speeds. Keep it above about 30km/h (thanks Slopes app!) on groomed pistes and it's very planted, but I'd never describe it as particularly playful. I found I needed to spot my jumps and features a bit sooner so I could load up the tail. It gave me the confidence to ride harder and faster than I've ever trusted myself to do before as it absorbs the crud and chop so well with the front acting like a boat hull. Ice and dust on crust is it's nemesis though. I was regularly going 50km/h+ and getting no chatter or any feeling I would be bucked. I was slowing down because I was scared of the speed and my reaction times to others on a public slope, not because the board couldn't do more. And because of aerodynamics! I maybe got too cocky on it and ended up in A&E having my neck X-rayed on day 2 and made another visit on the final day after I hit a hidden mini mogul in bad light at over 70km/h at the the end of a skiiers speed check run and tore my ACR a few days later. The board and bindings are super tough, for sure!
A week on this board until I broke myself on the last run of the day was pretty exhausting. Taking some of the aggression out of the bindings lean helped but as an older rider that's not super fit a workout and a half! Think I'd like to pick up a softer more playful board to complement this, but as a speed addict, no complaints. Just wish the kids could keep up!
A very practical video! I would like to ask, with a height of 179cm, a weight of 76kg, and shoe size of 28 centimeters, so I choose 159, right?
No 159cm is the wrong size for your weight - it is too big 156cm - s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-goliath-mens-snowboard
@@S2AS tks🔥🔥
Would this be too much board for a 5'11" 290 lbs, size 12 US boot low intermediate? I currently have a skunk ape 161w.
No not at all it would be a great choice for sure. Make sure you get the wide model. Thanks www.s2as.com
Between the Goliath and Evil Twin which one should I choose ? I spent most of my time in park, I will say 60% park 40% resort or powder if there is
Ok then this one all day long, it better suits your style of riding and your get more out of it. s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-evil-twin
@@S2ASthanks you ! 😊
Hi, Im 175cm and 77kg . I Dont know what size to choose if 153 or 156. What is your opinion? Thanks for your videos and your help :)
156cm All day long for all-mountain riding - the 156 will give you way more float in the Pow, and still feel small underfoot on the rest of the mountain all due to the TBT. I HOPE THIS HELPS - s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-goliath-mens-snowboard
Would you recommend this board to a beginner rider? I’m 6’5 tall with size 13 feet, if not this then any recommendations would be welcome! Thanks.
Yes I would not a problem at all. As for size I would need your weight really to help drop me an email via here - s2as.com/pages/contact and I will help
Out.
@@S2ASthanks for the reply! I’m 130kg - I was looking at this and the Nitro Magnum 2024 - have you reviewed that one? Or anything else you would recommend?
I love you review and have a question for you, I am 95kg and 191cm and thinking to go for 164w, now I am riding a 162w Nitro team, what do you think ?
What size are your boots? If they are under a uk 11 then you don’t need to go wide.
As for length go for the 161w (if you need wide)
This will still feel bigger and offer lots more float in low than your current board due to the TBT
Remember to help support us as a snowboard shop
When purchasing.
Thanks

How does this board pair with the 2024 union atlas ? Would you choose to atlas or the force with this board ?
Me personally, I would run with the Force over the Atlas Bindings on the Goliath, but they both work well on the Goliath.
What’s the reason you choose the force over the atlas ? Just curious
Based on my height (189cm) and Weight (91kg) and 44 shoe size. I assume that 161W is the correct way right?
Hi bud, No! first thats a 9.5uk so you don't need a wide board - That will just slow down your heal-to-toe response time and there is no need to do that in your boot size. 2nd at 91kgs go for the 159cm option - These boards ride bigger in pow so it will ride like a normal 162cm snowboard. i hope this helps bud. Get it from S2AS - They have a Black Friday deal on right now also code: (SBD15) - s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-goliath-mens-snowboard

You said your top 2 boards... whats your other favorite for 2024.
This one: a faster base and a lighter core - A little more pricy - s2as.com/products/2024-bataleon-goliath-mens-snowboard-1
@S2AS so big fan of the Goliath(s) offer for this year, I see. Would love to know what bindings you'd pair with these boards.
