  • Sure, size matters, but not when it comes to whiskey glasses. We go down the Rabbit Hole to find out if the shape or style of the glass makes a difference to aroma and taste. Why has the shot glass been replaced? Why not just use a Dixie Cup 🤣? We won't go there but we will explore the Glencairn and other popular whiskey glass choices. Come along for the ride!

Nice premise Mike. Very interesting. So I guess my rocks glass with a round ice ball would finish dead last. 🥃

In a Neat World yes 😝 I too have ice molds and rock glasses for my Old Fashioned. Cheers.

Good comparison. I always go with a Glen cairn unless they are dirty and then I have some short snifter glasses I got at a local beer distillery as a backup. Hefty rocks glasses for my old fashioned or a large cube. Btw, if you are looking for a good clear ice mold, I recommend True Cubes.

Thanks, I love the square cube mold I have but can never get the ice clear. Was gloing to try freezing limestone water and see if that works. If not, will look at your True Cubes.

Great job on the video. I've been using those Viski Scotch glasses more and more for sipping. I really like the weight of them in the hand. I completely agree on the nosing aspect of them. I love the Glens but i feel you get a bit cleaner nose ethanol-wise with the Viskis. I just bought that Viski aeration tumbler for the hell of it to try. It was way more affordable than the original Norlan version which started off at ~$50 per glass. I got the Viski aeration tumbler for $18 on Amazon. The price of the Norlans has since gone down to $28.

Thank you. It was your idea my friend. I’m just the messenger. Loved doing it. Come up with more ideas.
