EdTech Tools Digital Whiteboard and Equation Editor for Online Math Teaching
In this video, you will learn about Edtech tools from one of the world's renowned educational technology company Promethean. The software is ActivInspire studio and it has a whiteboard, a Math equation editor and has a set of math tools such as a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a roller dice etc. These EdTech math tools are extremely useful for teaching mathematics online. I will show you how to use a ruler, a protractor for drawing closed arc and filled arcs, a compass for drawing a circle. All these math tools have three types of hover actions. One is to move the tool, the other is to make it bigger or smaller and the third is for the rotation. I will also show you how to use a set of roller dice that can be used in a classroom where for example you want to select a random student who will present first. This is just one use case, there could be many.
I will also show you how to draw shapes in the Activinspire studio. Also how to change the line width and the fill colour. The connector is also available which can be used to draw flowcharts and flow diagrams which could be very important in certain applications.
You will also learn how to use math equation editor which is integrated inside Activinspire studio. You cannot usually write math expressions and equations within a whiteboard but this important function is also available in this state of the art Edtech tool.

After searching I found one software where I can use ruler , protractor, compass....some how found app openboard...

On the right-hand side of your video is a toolbar with 3 columns. The 3rd column has the EQUATION EDITOR. My download only has TWO columns, thus no editor. What would be the reason?

Thanks a lot for the video sir. I have downloaded the software but it doesn't have the compass tool and also it is not so compatible with windows I guess as I noticed that when I write in the board or on the screen the letters are not smooth. As this software is actually developed for promethean Interactive panels.

Sir I don't have many options ..no equation editor or background changing options or compass...what do I do...I have only two columns on the right side.... in tools there are only three tools..ruler, set square and protractor only...

Tablet is better but expensive, pen tab is affordable and does all the work

I wants to draw line graph on visual graph paper using X Y axis. I want same visual graph paper as we are using physically. Also the tools should be easy to handle.
The easiest way to change the background of a page to a graph paper is in Microsoft Whiteboard, Bitpaper or Openboard and I have videos on all these. Please find on my channel.

why i can't use express poll of active inspire it says activhub hardware is required or something
ActivInspire Poll only works with "Registered" devices and activehub is a device which registers your devices and devices of students

Installing Latex version of Flshplayer may solve the problem...no one reported this before..I will look into this..

@Bhasker Eedepu I got the solution.There are 3 options for this software 1) Run personal edition 2) Buy now 3) 60 days trial.For full tools we have to select Buy now and purchase the software or 60 days trial. Personal edition has some limitations that's why we didn't find compass and other tools.

Considering the use case for the dice roller, Tom Sawyer would be sure to sit in one of the low numbered seats (less than the number of dice rolled) to ensure he was never called on. 😀
