Wow! what great performances (and a good sound balance! - not always easy when capturing a live show) It's great to see Mr Kelley with that blue guitar, you need to get him into your livestream shed again 🙂

What fun! And, kudos to the rhythm section… Gary smiled and listened through every tune. That’s enjoying the music😁!

Smokin!! Rich, Bruce and Jim. I died and went to heaven.
Hey, Rich. In one of your videos you showed a really nice "churchy" and unusual voicing for a simple major triad chord. I don't remember the voicing or how to find the video. Does this ring any bells? Can you hook me up with a link?

Obviously, this is my opinion. Rich Severson is the classical jazz musician. Beautiful cords, beautiful touch, very thoughtful playing. He is just the master. What I can say about others in this guitar festival? I would not name it a "jazz festival". It sounded and played more like the "Blues festival". All others played great, but.... they are all (like millions contemporary guitar players) are like twins, use same type of playing and tricks - they drill a guitar with hundred notes in second (it is now considered as best quality) , like shooting from an automatic gun, where thoughtful and philosophical playing is missing. This is a problem for millions guitarists this days.

Thank you for the thoughtful, comment, how nice, but I picked all those guys because I really appreciate their playing

Hmmm this is why guitar players need to listen to horn player.
