Your weapons have different situational benefits and weaknesses, so you should be using all them in battle. Using only one makes fights much harder. Also applies to which weapon your companions are using.
This episode was a banger! I can't wait for the next one :) Lmao that bar at the end definitely needs to have OSHA close them down. It's theorized that the only reason Shepard was the first human to survive the poisoning is because of their cybernetics they received during their revival. Lucky for Shepard! Don't sweat the combat so much, you'll have an easier time once you've finished some more upgrades and whatnot. The step up in difficulty between ME1 and ME2 is insane, but I'm happy to see you stayed mentally strong through it! Also, don't forget to speak to Harrott, the elcor who is making that quarian Kenn sell his salvage high :)
The batarian bartender is definitely gambling when serving poison to a human in a group, Zaeed acted out of character by not shooting the guy on the spot 😂
I could definitely see you getting better at fighting as an adept as the episode progressed and things will be easier as you upgrade your weapons and powers. Mordin is one of my favourite characters so I'm glad you got him on board early. You will have to scan lots of planets to get enough minerals for all the upgrades you can research!
My man :D Getting you ass handed to you is part of the leanring curve, sadly and not a complaint at all, its like youve said, you dont play the game enough to learn everything quickly. I wouldnt worry too much, things stay relative this way if you upgrade enough and the Upgrades are spread out out enough so you dont get to OP or too far behind if yoou put in the effort for recources. Warning!! This is a long comment to help learn Biotics. Regarding your Adept, the true power behind this class is Biotic Explosions, which when done correctly Doube and triple your Damage out put. Singularity is not a stand alone ability, its a start, what we call a primer skill, once it has enemies in the air you follow it up with a Warp, your Warp or a Sqaud mates warp will work though yours does more damage. Singualrity Followed by shockwave is Devastating. Jacobs Pull and several other characters Pull followed by a Warp is very effective aswell. Just throwing down a Singularity isnt that eefective by itself, decent for dislodging from cover and shooting floating enemies but try throwing in Warp aswell and hear the Detonation, tbh the Detonation sound like a giant Fart in ME2, but its highly effective. Get it right now and Mass Effect 3 will be second nature to you when you get to its more advanced BIotic skill The best way to get your sqaud mates to use skill is to have them set on your Quick skills buttons, Im not sure how to set it up exactly on PC but you should be able to just drag your Sqaud mate skills to buttons on the top of your screen. There is a difference in how Shepards skills work and how Sqaud mates skill work, ostensibly, when Shepard uses a biotic skill it will be animated and follow a path to the enemy, you see it with Singularity. Where as a Sqaud mates Biotic skills, or all Sqaud mate skill, will animate near the target, they will not follow a set path. This is a game design limitation so you can better time your detonations, make use of it. The otherthing about being an adept, or any Biotic class that is, is using the Natural curve of skills to hit enemies behind cover. You can curve a warp so much that it willswing around a corner to hit an enemy, same you Singualrity, you can curve a singularity so much it Drops behind cover instead of infront of cover. There are other more advanced things you can do, like timing a biotic explasion with Mirandas Slam perfectly or priming a Detonation with Biotic Ammo, but that can wait till later. . . . . . . . Also, by and by, idk how you feel about such things, But there is a mod that allows you switch on/off helmets, im pretty sure.
Great episode, you will adapt to the adept combat style. They certainly upgraded the combat! Some helmets and visors can be worn without hiding Shepard's face. The visor you bought is one of them. I mentioned in my comment on your last episode, that you can arc powers over cover. Aim just slightly above the target not straight at it. Aim so that you can still see their health bar. Also do not fire a power if you cannot see the health bar, it will not connect! Exception, Shockwave will pass through cover! One you go a specific mission you will find a much better submachine gun. Pyros, Vorcha or otherwise are a pain and should be priority targets. Great Christmas sweater!
There’s a fun fan theory about Mordin in the Mass Effect community. Basically, some people belive Mordin is speaking to you in your native language rather than relying on a translator. It may or may not explain his speech patterns.
hi, if I remember well you can unequip helmet in conversation as long as it's the default customizable armor. You can't unequip the helmet from armors that you buy which are not customizable.
That option is only in ME3. In ME2, you have to choose to not have a helmet completely in the armor selector. I always do without it, it doesn't add that significant of a bonus.
In the next one, we will have a closer look at the equipment; maybe there is one that provides some protection while also displaying the beautiful face of Shepard 😅
One tip is now that you have Mordin you can talk to every squad mate about upgrade ideas under “investigate” when you chat with them. Everybody has one upgrade they can give you

You are absolutely right, another thing to remember regarding combat, I have to step up my game!
Hell yeah new part
Ayyy, good to see you again, friend!
Finally caught up, great job!
Thanks for watching and commenting, good sir, I appreciate it!

RIP at buying everything Harrot has before doing the Quarian favor 😂

I think I'm starting to get the hang of combat! And I also see a lot of love for Mordin in the comments, great we got him so soon 😁
Fun Facts: 1) Mordin was inspired from Clint Eastwood. 2) Voice actor for male Shepard; Mark Meer also voiced Vorcha
Mordin inspired by Clint Eastwood?! For now, I'm not seeing the connection, but we will see!
@DyliardGaming his facial look was the inspiration not the personality

Thanks for the in-depth explanation, will save your comment and try to gradually apply some of the tips! 😄

Great Christmas sweater!
Thanks! I will have to experiment a little with the combat to try out all of those high-caliber tips, as of now I'm fighting for my life haha 😅

Hmm interesting... Love how there are still unclear/mysterious things people discuss years after the release of the game 😮
really love your christmas sweather :D where did you get that!?
Oh, this one I got cheap in a second-hand if I remember correctly, but I have more sweaters to showcase haha

@MattRowland you're right, in fact I used a visor as a helmet in ME2
In the next one, we will have a closer look at the equipment; maybe there is one that provides some protection while also displaying the beautiful face of Shepard 😅
@DyliardGaming there is that visor you watched in the omega market at the end of the video, 1:56:00 it looks cool and you can see you whole face
I love your outfit 😂🎄❤️
Thank you! 🎅

Oh, new dialogue options, was not aware of this. Thanks!
