We got a Samsung dishwasher 3 months ago that emits a strong, chemical / burning smell every time it runs. The technician did nothing, other than link the smell to be coming from the insulation foam on top from when the dishwasher heats up. What are we supposed to do? Imagine not being able to go near your kitchen when the dishwasher is on because the smell is so strong. Sometimes we even have to leave the house. And Samsung customer service has been unhelpful and slow. Never thought a dishwasher could cause so much stress and I would think a company like Samsung would help us by replacing it or providing a solution. This smell could potentially be harmful to health.
