Guitarists Mick Tucker and Cliff Evans joined Tank in 1983 they're both up there. I'm guessing they replaced the Brabbs brothers well Peter (guitars) who left Tank soon after and as far as I can make out never returned to the music business in a serious way (but I could easily be wrong).
I love all versions of Tank. I hope some version of Tank continues playing Tank songs for 100+ years. Even is Algy did not like it, they continue what he started.

Listen... Nearly every band goes through some kind of change. Let's take for instance Judas Priest who are in my opinion Masters of Metal. First they lost drummer Les Binks next came K.K. Downing and now Glen Tipton. The Priest still lives and kicks ass like nothing was ever lost. Let's give credit where credit should be due TANK is TANK and they continue to play their tunes in my opinion better with age despite the loss of members. I've been a Tank fan from the very beginning and this line up is excellent!! The funny thing is 'IF' Algy Ward was never part of Tank then Doogie White would be acceptable, as well as the rest. Long Live Tank.

I've never understood why Tank has always refrained from playing the best songs from the first album live. They only play the more nonsensical songs, not the serious, heavy songs. I.e. they never play Shellshock, Struck by Lightning, Turn your Head Around, Heavy Artillery.

You're all right, these guys sound too clean and professional to be Tank, they're all way better musicians than Algy & co. This band is however supposed to be fast, chaotic and punkish. Even Algy committed the enormous mistake on the 3rd record in the mid-80's to play more technical, cheesy and melodic
Much too clear sound for TANK. They where a fine crossover Power trio, goes from punk, NWoBHM, progressive Rock, heavy rock to early Thrash metal style with a very special voice.
The last three Tank albums have been fantastic straightforward Heavy Metal with a lot of power and energy but also a lot of melody and class. Doogie White is missed on their latest album, but the new singer is pretty good. The music and the vocal melodies are all top notch, among the best written over the last 5 years. This is a GREAT band, regardless of band name or who is in the band. Honestly, I put War Nation up as one of the best Heavy Metal albums of all time, it's that good.

He can no longer play live because he has tinnitus which makes him lose balance and fall over. He does not approve of this fake ass Tank with no original members.

I know TANK since Doogie joined them and I think they're great! Good songs, heavy guitars and lots of melody. I'm a fan of Doogies voice but have to admit that this wasn't his best performance though. I listened to the old TANK too (Algy Ward period) but don't like that very much, just a few songs, and now the Doogie peroid has also come to an end..

This is just an ok tribute band… no Algy, no TANK. Like Motörhead without Lemmy. It sounds more like a diluted version of Saxon than the real TANK!
