It is Charlotte Amelia ( A.mal yah). Lived there 15 years. Try Ashley's Pate's and Udder Delight milk shakes! Any pate stand is good, but Ashley's has the best pates! Lakes Chicken in Smith Bay has excellent chicken too! And, The Greenhouse has amazing Conch Fritters. A little trivia, Duffy's Love Shack was the Three Virgins back in the old days. Red Hook was in "The Country" and American Yacht Harbor was quaint and laid back. Things change, not always for the better ... we used to live on D dock when it was charming and rustic, back when you could run into Jimmy Buffet sitting on the dock in Tortola. Jost Van Dyke is gorgeous and a trip to Harris' Place for lobster is a TREAT!
You did a really nice job on the video, I will make a few suggestions for you on your next trip back. When you are in town go to the Green house there is a small whole in the wall food stand next to it.; they sell patty meat, fish and sometimes conch . It is a local dish and it will blow your mind. Also if you go to the sea plane airport that is located on the water front just before French town go upstairs to the restaurant and they sell local dishes which are amazing.; local fish and fruit. And last Sib's Bar and Restaurant it has live entertainment in the evening, the food is very good and they are family owned and they just turned 100 years old.
Thank you for this very detailed video. I will definitely use this as a guide. Question, where did you find your vacation stay? Can you send me the link please? Thank you!
