Was beating my head against the wall trying to do Kenshi's last combo tutorial. The timing on this one is so weird. Additionally, you can use RT to stop the ghost from moving for a much more manual way of doing this combo, but it made my head hurt trying it out lol

When mk1 dropped, I wanted to play kenshi and later on this vid came out. I tried to practice this combo at first but never could. So I went to play kung Lao and mileena. Came back to this today and now I can hit it. Thanks bro

Okay so after doing the combo a couple of times and some testing, I think Sub Zero is better here, but its based on preference and what you wanna do. Wanna beat them down, them DEFINITELY go sub-zero. Wanna freeze them from across the map and take a little more time? Frost is ya gal! EDIT: Turns out, Sub-Zero will also increase health by 5%, but in exchange for lower damage on the fatal blow by 3%

For those that want to practice this with all the buttons on screen this is literally the kenshi tutorial kombo #7. Just run that tutorial till ur comfortable with it and u will be straight

Ive read the comments regarding stand 3 but i cant seem to get it down. Usually I don't have problem with combos, but that stand 3. I don't understand at all lol

I was trying to nail the 1:04 part during the entire beta but couldn’t get the time down. I would spam 2 twice which would land but by the time kenshi would do the lost way sento had the cooldown activated and couldn’t land his pop up in time
The satisfaction of finally keeping cool and collected and landing them is amazing though!

I’m having trouble when I get sento out f22 k I always get an attack with kenshi when I’m trying to move forward with sento in the beginning of the combo

I would recommend using sub zero over frost cameo. His freeze lasts longer giving you more time the summon sento 😊
His freeze also hits high so if they’re ducking they won’t be hit, I wouldn’t recommend over frost kameo
@@HDK7 I use his freeze mid combo so it doesn’t rly matter. There are benefits to both tbf. I struggle to get off sento summon in time, allowing them to block, when I use frost. Which is why I pref sub zero. Both serve same purpose

I gotta say, I absolutely love this tutorial. I've been wanting to pick him up and I'm taking the time to learn him through some combos like this. However, I'm running into an issue and I'm not sure if you're able to solve it, or if anyone has an answer for it.
It comes after the Forward 2 2 1, Sento 3 to knock up, then you do the neutral 4 into down back 3 for the extension. However for some reason, despite the input feed showing up as me doing the combo correctly, the output comes out as the down back 4 for teamwork instead. Is there any idea on why the registration is being a little bit buggy in that regard? I can cancel the neutral 4 into down back 3 no problem otherwise, it's literally only when I'm attempting to do the combo that I'm having trouble.
You should go in your kontrol settings and turn off release check

Use Serina instead of frost. If you want an easy combo, I got you! Catch them off guard with a forward 2,2 then use Serina, then 2,2 again, then Serina, then 2, 2, 2. This is 34%. It's good damage and easy. Trust me. Plus after you can catch them off guard with the Serina and open sento with that! Good luck Kenchi mains!!!!
Sareena does not combo into Sento, why would someone settle for sareena kameo for less damage and no mixup that you get with frost kameo…
@@HDK7 after the 2, 2,2 you have enough time to be unpunished. 35% out of sento is a hell of a combo. Plus being able to use that combo and use it to go into sento makes for way quicker matches if you can also get the combo off with your ancestor, only problem is you gotta know how to open with him.

One question tho, The part i struggle with the most is the second lunge attack from sento. I miss more than it hits. Any suggestions.

Yessir, just got it down:theory; thought there was something wrong with the timing of my stand 4, so i kept messing around with that. All that mattered was hitting 3 for sento when scorpion started falling. Bouta tackle that nee vid you uploaded once i know i mastered this shii

The meterless damage is soooo good i wannt that they keep it its the fun thing i love about mk

instead of using 4 before teamwork use forward 2. it has more range and damage
after the f2,2,1 sento just does spirit bop instead of leaping soul, and when he does do leaping soul the opponent is already on the floor
You’re doing your f221 way too slow if your spirit bop is coming out because that means sento’s cooldown is up

Can you possibly tell the combo with using things like square, triangle, etc. The 1234 numbers are kinda confusing
i have the chart up the entire video so you can see, square is 1, triangle is 2, X is 3 and circle is 4, i cant tell it like that because
1. I play on a PC and use an Xbox Controller
and
2. Not everyone is using a PlayStation controller

Man I’m really struggling after the freeze and Sento stance to get 2 out before Kenshi recovers. Any tips with the timing? Or is it just practice? After freeze and Sento stance, they end up attacking at the same time instead of 2 coming out before F221
Keep walking, hold forward until sento’s 2nd attack hits then do the F221
I don't know if still struggling with combo. But when you go into sento stance make sure to hit 2 only one time then let the animation start then go into 221. Make sure not to hit the buttons fast with this combo. Try to it smooth and steady. If I go to fast the combo will drop at a certain point for me.

At 1:48 my Sento is attacking early like when I’m doing the soaring sento which makes it miss the launch, know any reason why
you have to be more patient with it so it can land
Im not sure what im dpung wrong but its super common that the opponent gets hit by the first hit of double dose after the frost assist but they can block the second swing and the combo drops. Any advice from anyone?
if theyre blocking after the double dose it means youre pressing it too late, since you have to unfreeze your opponent with the move theres a little bit of time where if you let them unfreeze on their own they will have the chance to block because of the gap

ngl the gaps you have to do in his moves to not drop are the most glaring nrs flaws ive ever seen makes the character so inconsistent

Why does an opponent block sometimes after sentos first 2? I keep getting opponents who basically ignore my combo and block it ? I freeze the opponent, take out sento and hit them when they’re frozen, THEN after the first hit from sento in a string of 2 they block the second one then every attack from Kenshi and I don’t know why
Also sometimes my damage % changes even if I do the same moves, I’m very new so any help is greatly appreciated
It they’re blocking it then it means you’re doing it too late, you’d need to input Sento as soon as you can, I’d recommend doing the character tutorial since it has a very similar combo, you can see the timing in there, and your damage % is probably changing because you’re most likely dropping the combo and not realizing it, if you do this exact combo that I have in the video you should end up with 41 or 42%

no, currently i dont know any other kameos that would work, i havent tried scorpion or sub, I have tried sareena, and darrius and those don’t work either

@@kyleclark3424 if you wait to do the 221 after sento fully finishes his first attack you should be able to just input the 3 and he’ll lunge

Hey man, whenever i try to do the sento stance and i walk forwards to close the distance Kenshi does a slice along with the ghost. So i'm basically unable to close the distance, do you have any idea what i can do about it?
you're going to have to input forward then 2 to walk forward to use double dose with sento before kenshi's summon animation is finished so Kenshi isnt moving and they wont attack at the same time

Take your time, try to break up the combo into multiple parts, if you got everything down up until you have to use down back 3, try just hitting with sento’s stand 3 then practicing the stand 4 into down back 3

Yo need help. After the lost way combo the lunge never gets in time.
Basically when I press A for the lunge. Kenshi does a kick beside it and won't allow the lunge to connect.
if you're getting a kick youre inputting your 3 way too late, input lost way fast, take a small gap then press 3

I also do the 16 hit combo without the enhanced one.....but idk why i get 395.5 damage
You might be starting with a different input other than F22 that’s why

I dont see anyone landing this online, the 3 is nigh impossible to time
NVM, I got it. The real trick for anyone who cant pull it off is to leave a gap after the double dose (2) so that there's enough time for his cooldown to reset before you hit the first 3. If you do it all immediately there isn't enough time and the 3 will be late.

Tbh kenchi is not a badass character anymore in MK1....In MKx kenchi had good combos but in MK1 kenchi is little bit crap...I don't find cool combos in kenchi.....My expectations from kenchi a lot..😢
