Brilliant - as always. I love how you explain in such a simple, straightforward way so that the ideas are 100% accessible to all. Many, many thanks for wonderful ideas.
Russell, Your tutorial is great. One of the things I didn't see was how to limit to the number of entries in a game or quiz. Example: a Chinese vocabulary list has 30 entries, but I only want to test 10 at a time. If I play the game/quiz again, it might choose 10 different words from the list. will Wordwall do this? Thanks.
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, Wordwall can do that! When setting up your quiz or game, look for the option to limit the number of questions. You can choose to display a random selection of entries (e.g., 10 out of 30), and each time the game is played, it can pull different entries from your vocabulary list. This makes it perfect for varied testing!
Thank you for your comment! Yes, you can paste a list to create multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Simply format it so each question is followed by its answer options, like this: Question: Option 1 Option 2 Option 3 (Correct Answer) Most tools will guide you in specifying the correct answer during setup. Let me know if you need more details!
I am using wordwall and searching for some ideas and chance upon your video. Thank you! Im in need of change of font. As the template comes in with it's own font which may not be suitable for arabic font. Some template turned out nice and readable for arabic font but some they are a font that is hard to identify. Hope Wordwall can help to input font change as a separate edit in each template as well.
I don't work for Wordwall. I just did some consultancy work for them. You will need to contact them as I don't know the answer. Sorry.I am glad my video was useful
Russell, I have another question. I am working with Chinese, so I have characters, pinyin pronunciation and English meaning for every entry. I would like to construct a quiz with characters requiring an answer in pinyin, character requiring an answer in English, and English requiring an answer in character. Is there any way I can use 3 lists from which questions are generated?
Thanks for your question! Wordwall doesn’t support multiple lists directly, but you can create custom quizzes by manually entering each question with characters, pinyin, and English. You’ll need to mix them as needed for each question type.
"To enlarge the font size in Wordwall for multiple choice questions, you can try adjusting the text size in the theme settings. After selecting your activity, go to the 'Theme' tab and choose a layout that allows for larger text, or customize it manually if the theme supports it. Hope that helps!
I really don't know. I did some consultancy work for Wordwall but I don't work for them. I honestly don't know the difference. I just like the product. You will have to weight up the two, I am sorry I can't help
In Wordwall, you can incorporate images by either uploading them directly or searching for images within the platform's built-in library. Once added, images can be used in various interactive activities such as matching games, quizzes, and flashcards to enhance engagement and visual learning.
Yes, you can track each student's assignment progress on Wordwall, making it easier to monitor their performance and offer support as needed. You can access detailed data on how your students are doing on various assignments, quizzes, and activities. This data includes their scores, completion status, and time spent on each task. It's a fantastic tool for keeping tabs on individual progress and identifying areas where students might need extra support.
This is very helpful thank you. However I have shared a quiz I made with my students, watched them all join in and answer everything, however I have no results appearing. It is saying that no one has taken my quiz, Any help on why please?
It's possible that there might be a technical issue with the platform or the settings of your quiz that's preventing the results from appearing, I recommend reaching out to Wordwall's support team for assistance with troubleshooting.
Today, Wordwall has limited use and we need to pay first. Does it really worth to pay as i just embarking my career in teaching and i have less money 😢
When I try to embed an activity to my Facebook page I follow the instructions and paste the code and all the code remains visible, can you advise please?
It seems like there might be an issue with the way the code is being pasted; make sure to paste it into the HTML editor of your Facebook post, and if the problem persists, double-check the code to ensure it's copied correctly.
With the free option, you can create activities for up to 5 students at a time. While this may seem limiting for larger classes, it's still a great way to test out the platform and see if it suits your needs. For larger groups, considering the premium options might be beneficial, offering more scalability and features. Ultimately, it depends on your specific classroom needs and budget.

Hi. Wordwall. Community searching. Have changed the basic plan to limit the number of searches?
Russell is this true?
Before everyone had unlimited searches in the community.
May I ask how to enlarge the font size by using Wordwall? (multiple choice, with more words at one choice) Thanks in advance 😅

Yes, you can create a single link in Wordwall that bundles multiple activities for single student assignments.
@@ttvRussell how do I do that please?

I contacted Wordwall Support after asking on here and they said you can’t create a single link to bundles of activities?

Can you give me any details for creating a single link for a bundle of activities please?
it has more advantages but the question is how many students can do it?
With the free option, you can create activities for up to 5 students at a time. For larger groups, considering the premium options might be beneficial, offering more scalability and features. Ultimately, it depends on your specific classroom needs and budget.
How do I delete my account?
I don't know, I have never done that. There must be a way. I would have thought it is an option in your account options. If not contact Wordwall.net
WORDWALL IS NOT FREE ANYMORE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :((((( /I'm writing this in

Hi Wordwall used to have 5 activities/ day for free. Unfortunately, it might have changed and now you have to pay for it.
