Thank you. With the gun laws in Namibia I was very hesitant today when I put in my order for the exact same build. Then I saw this video and now I am happy with my choices. But I think I'll opt for the detachable magazine upgrade at some point.

Double grouping like that indicates either a bedding issue or an optic issue. I say bed the recoil lug and it will be fine.

Totally agree with you on Mils vs. MOA. I understand Mils without a problem but when I'm in the field shooting, I just think MOA's.... :)

Range in Meters and you will not need to do all the MOA conversions.

Do you have a total weight for the setup you got there? I'm asking before watching so I didn't forget.

PJA-TRansmotion bull barrel I think. Actually I think on the website I bought it from it was described as “heavy barrel”

@@tristarcustoms77 thanks , very helpful, indeed I want to create my own custom rifle with Howa 1500 barreled action (in 308) and I like the Boyd's stock . Not vey expensive , nice wood design and high performance .

.22LR is fun, easy on the shoulder and cheap to shoot... and challenging at 100+ yards. Tons of fun and at much less than 1/2 the cost of any center fire round I've seen.

22lr is easy in the shoulder? It's non existent on the shoulder. At least get a 223.

I can’t remember now to be honest. It’s been about 4 years since I ordered that stock. I’ve since sold that gun.

Suggestion: Instead of estimating 5 inches high and 5 inches to the right and then trying to figure out in your head how many mils adjustment that would be, use your reticle to measure in mils how much you need to move your point of impact in each plane, and then adjust your turrets by that amount. Much faster and easier. No math required.

Clem Nichols thanks for the suggestion I appreciate it! Im a Math teacher by day so the math is just normal to me lol

You need to come down to Southern Precision Tooling and get a Hudu put on that beast.

Christ Alive I checked out that Hudu muzzle brake on the Southern Precision Facebook page.. it’s an awesome looking brake and I’m all about supporting local East TN business but $200 for a brake ain’t my style lol

I notice how you didn't bother actually pressing those buttons on the stock... yeah, awkward and poorly done on mine.

wdc c I meant to actually show how they worked but like you said it is awkward and I couldn’t do it while it was sitting on the table like that.

I think you should learn to spell CreedMOOR if you are going to videos about it.
