The point is it's not righteous anger.
He was dismissed from his "Mars Hill" church for various levels of spiritual abuse, including threats and anger issues.
It seems he left a number of people quite traumatized, judging by the testimony of at least one elder.
Julie Roys has reported on it extensively on her website and there is a famous podcast called "The Rise and Fall of Mars Hill".
That's why there's a few comments labelling this sermon "classic PROJECTION".

Why do I say that ? Because I heard so many sermons on masturbation made by those weirdos called pastors , always blaming other men for their natural sex drive. If men get married , it is precisely for not masturbating !
You think that God is deaf to all the falsehoods , the guilt and shame spewed from those post modern pulpits ?

Why do you say that ? I read it every day as a spiritual and moral food .
I've read it more than once , and , as , a woman , insisting on the passages that deal with my own gender and with wifely duties.
What I notice is that the modern Church is being hijacked by a female spirit of rebellion disguised as victimhood . Nothing different from the ungodly world . Women are taking over thanks to Satan who is empowering them with all kinds of lies and crocodile tears .
I listened to the whole sermon and the only thing right he said was that no matter how harsh the economic climate is , a man has to provide for his family and harshness musn't be an excuse for laziness.
This is true and part of a husband 's duty ( along with shelter and sex).
However , what made me sick , on the opposite was his attitude towards his brothers regarding marriage and sexuality .
Mark Driscoll dared call husbands rapists instead of blaming the wives who dare withhold sex from their husbands , even though they have no power over their own body . Mark Driscoll does not teach its female audience submission and obedience . It implicitly condones its satanic rebellion .
I listened to several videos of MD regarding sex (ke keeps talking about that topic) but NOWHERE does he teach marital DUTY as the Bible teaches it.
Rather , MD prefers blaming men for watching porn or "forcing themselves " on their wives as he says .
But , of course , he does not go any further : he does not say the obvious thing that GOD knows and sees in those cursed female-dominated marriages : if the man has to take forcefully what is DUE to him , it nis because it is not given .
The one to blame then is the wife who does not yield her body as she SHOULD ( 1 corinthians 7) but manipulates and plays with her husband like a puppet , letting Satan in the marital bed and making marriage not a safe place against sexual temptation but an open place for sexual sin.
The Bible teaches that marriage is to be a bulwark against debauchery .
How can it be if it is sexless ???????
I am the one who has issues ? I tell the truth that defeats Satan but I have issues ?
Satan hates marital duty , that is why he gathered his servants and made up a LIE in hell (another one ) called spousal rape , that his feminist agents have made legal in our Western societies utterly devoted to him and bent to destruction.
Do you know the true motto of the country of Mark Driscoll ?
      In Woman we trust .
Woman , the new goddess who can do no wrong but who is saturated with lies , pride and moral filfth.
The new goddess flattered by so called preachers , while the Bible severly rebukes her.

Mark Driscoll condones wifely rebellion and even encourages it. In his whole sermon Marriage and Men , husbands are called imbeciles in front of their so delightful wives who can never do no wrong of course but who have a right to withhold sex in Mark Driscoll's feminised world !
Rebellious women are the curse of that planet . It is women who file for divorce far more than men . And the Bible clearly shows that a foolish wife plucks down her house with her own hands , she doesn't need anybody's help .

Isabelle M I was once a Christian...for 21 years, I am not anymore. But you're my hero. I feel Christianity has become so poisoned with modern feminism and it's preachers like MD who fuel it. I used to go to discipleship studies and the leaders there would show us videos of MD and praise his words, telling us what great things he says about men. You seem like a true red pill woman and you see things how they are, which is very rare in anyone these days given how infected with feminism society is. Maybe if more people like you (and especially more women...since nobody listens to men anymore unless they're are talking about how terrible men are) are around showing Christians...and people in general for that matter, how things are we can get out of this feminised hole that society is in. Thank you for re-igniting my faith in people a tiny bit and showing me there are still some women out there who don't have the wool over their eyes.

I call bullshit, no way this guy really believes any of this about any of the people actually sitting in front of him as part of his congregation. It's theatrics. It might even be good intentioned theatrics, like just to illustrate a point. Or it might be donkey shit meant to bolster his rep with all the people in front of him that he damn well knows already agree. I think the later is more plausible.
