He opened the session with five concerns he has about charismatic theology (being charismatic himself). These concerns need to be prayerfully considered by those flocking to Lakeland and those who enjoy watching TBN or God TV.

The problem with Mark is that 90% of his sermons are about how holy HE looks. He has a very pharisaical and self-righteous spirit. As much as he whines about the jezebel spirit, he sure seems to possess some strong traits.
Driscoll is a legend. Most modern Christian men are soft cowards.

He has a great point. Guys living single and sinful and perverted watching porn in the church, not repenting and taking communion; they should be scolded . It’s not okay. The only thing that bothered me here is the passing the pass the plate part ...seemed a little calculated. Other than that I appreciated this

It was a great sermon. Problem is, you have to treat this present generation with “kid gloves”. They can’t take it straight up but would rather be coddled. I guarantee you, most “men” fall under the category that Mark is frustrated about. Perhaps he is even speaking to,himself in this matter as nearly all of us men have fallen into one of these sins. Listen to the message and repent if the Holy Spirit is talking to you.

I applaud this man for having the guts. The spine, the heart, the concern to say what needs to be said. People are ripping him apart because he's holding men accountable, for their actions, he needs to do the same regarding some women too. And yes, I'm a woman and yes, I said it. We could tell these are the end times because people I can who are not afraid to stand up for what's right. Are being ripped to shreds. That's OK, mark, your reward is great in heaven. You will be welcomed with open arms by our lord and savior

10 years ago this was seen as a “mean pastor yells at church” In 2024: Mark brings gives us the backstory, now it’s seen as one of the greatest short to the point preachings ever.
