- The power of invisibility. Can you find the ghillie sniper? He is using the Kicking Mustang Concealment System (KMCS) Ghillie Suit.
KMCS Ghillie Suit V 1.2:
New version includes:
Larger hood, longer back and hidden buttons for the best camouflage. Extensive vegetation loops covering the whole body and legs.
The Ghillie suit Kick Mustang Concealment System (KMCS) consists of a hood and pants. The suit is made of very light military materials, making it very robust but breathable and infrared retarding (IRR) to protect the wearer against opponents with night vision equipment at night.
It has realistic colors and the 3D leaf is arranged in natural random patterns that mimic the forest floor. The suit is covered with an elastic retention system for adding natural vegetation to the field. It has an extra large hood that can be worn over a helmet and has a two-way adjustment to pull it tightly around the head.
Characteristics
Handmade design
The sleeves have elongated cuffs to cover the back of the hands and an elastic thumb loop to prevent the sleeves from crawling up while crawling.
The smock has a long tail that adds extra concealment, but can also be worn over backpacks if necessary. Multiple access points / pockets give use access under the KMCS, so that it can be carried over plate carriers and still has access to the wearer's equipment. The suit can be stored in a compact bag that is part of the suit, making it easy to carry around.

whenever i watch your vids im always shouting at the screen like how did they not see you, now i completely understand. Thats incredible. I couldnt see you whilst specifically looking for you in the video where you actually see the terrain before you hide there. 10000% i would have no chance seeing you if i was in the field running around ahaha
When you don’t pay attention and don’t know that there is someone hiding it’s easy just stepping on someone with a ghillie

True. It felt like he was letting us have it towards the end too. Last few clips were fairly easy for me (except the tree one, wtf). But that could be different if he adapted the foliage on the ghillie

Yeah but how cool would this be as an intro/outro? Static shot on the field hes playing in the video, hes hidden somewhere on camera, theres a beat of like 5 to 10 seconds then he gets up and walks to the camera.
Or maybe you put a piece of lexan in front of the camera and shoot it.

I could actually see you about half of the time. But it is only because I was actually looking for you and the camera only shows a specific area. If it was during game play I would have been hit by you every time without knowing where it come from. Simply amazing!
I think one of the biggest disavantages airsoft and real snipers face is the fact that they don’t have a third person view.They can see how if there’s something off about there suit or if they have to much of an outline or whatever.They just can see what’s in front of them.It takes a special person to know exactly where to make a hide/ where to shoot from without getting spotted.
It’s easier to blend when there’s a lot of variation in the terrain such as the woods in the video because of the variation in the KMC suit.It’s beautiful.

Great demonstration of what the enemy would be dealing with and a great demonstration of how effective a well made ghillie suit and a cheap store bought ghillie suit! Definitely worth the price

Very good. I only picked you out a couple of times, and only then because I was looking for you. A bunch of other times I had to rerun the tape to see if I could see you prior to your reveal knowing where you were. Even then you were very well concealed. Now had I been running around on a mission I would have been an easy target. Your ghillie suit and camo effectively breaks up your silhouette and blends you into the native environment. Well Done.
I love how nowadays we actually have optical camo... I take it back, just remembered that it will take the sportsmanship etc. out of everything.
I'm a somewhat paranoid and high-strung person who's always looking at shadows with a wary eye. I spotted him a few times, but it wasn't based on me looking for him specifically. It was the based on the shape of things and some of the colors not blending organically or just looking very out of place. Other times I spotted him immediately, because a shape or 'object' just magically appeared where I was looking at the time. That said, it's an incredible suit and in most cases I wouldn't even notice it.
Yeah if you were walking through your property you would never know he was there.
What I would like to see is some work done on cloaking in a foliage barren area. We all don't live in areas that have green foliage year round. This requires something a little different.

I got 2 1/2 of those. Amazing work! That's actually very scary thinking about adaptive camo on such a good sniper.
The forest speaks to me, surprisingly it speaks english and shoots as well.
Brilliant video all ways wondered how hard it is to see a ghilli suit now i know. When you know they are in that scene about 3 to 10 seconds and then you might shoot a random bush. In that time you are all ready lined up in their sights. For when you don't know where they are you have very little next to 0 chance to win a engagement with out any prior knowledge.
That was FUN! A round of “Where’s Waldo?” If your a Sniper, ya gots have one of your suits. Love the shots when your still and enemy is walking by and all around and they don’t see you. Put a Collection of those in as well....
Used to hunt with ghilli. These things are mad effective. Walked right up to a few deer one time and they looked at me like "Why in the hell is that bush moving?"

I found you all but once. That said, I saw your the ghillie suit ahead of time and I saw what you added to it and in the majority of cases I saw the background beforehand (should have mixed them up). If I was walking into these areas without all that foreknowledge, I would have only spotted you 3 times. And I would probably have gotten shot all but one of them. I have an eye for detail, you are VERY good.
I only got a few of them, I had to pause the video as well and still had issues LOL! Nice Work!

So far I've only shared them on the sniper ops group. My current challenge is a good winter suit. I found out last game that too much white is a dead give away.
Not really much help but cool tip: Look right to left instead of left to right, we're so used to going left to right when perusing that it makes it easier to miss things.
Best game of "Where's Mustang" out there (only if you take to long you might get shot)

Found maybe 1/3 of them, but it was because the changing camera positioning. Hard to do if you get fresh scene. Good stuff.
Awesome ghillie camo system. Now we get to see what others see, or don't see before it's too late. (HIT!!😀) My favorite was the tree. I saw you, then second guessed myself. Then in the end you sat up in the same spot like it was a throne.😂😂
I can't even dream of owning such a suit. I'd love just to be able to afford to play Airsoft.

But yeah, transitions made some spots easy to see, also sometimes the color of the suit didn't match the surroundings so well. Found you 10/15 times, gj^^ If I didn't know what to look for I think you would have surprised me in any position^^
*kickingmustang stands up from behind a bush* and you violated the first lesson of monty pythons "how not to be seen".
I think the ghillie suit only really works when you have something covering your front because then the shadows create a very unnatural dark spot, and if you're facing the sun then its unnaturally bright and both stand out quite a bit since theres quite a bit of cloth.

Some where absolutely amazing, others seamed stupidly obvious. but also, as others have mentioned,
the ones that seam obvious, or only that because you are alert enough to look and are focusing because you KNOW someones there.
Every one of us would be dead if we were just walking through the woods even with the worst ones because we wouldnt be hyper focused on a specific area too see it.
If you didnt expect this guy he could just stand next to a tree directly in your path and you'd probably walk right by without ever knowing a thing, inches away.
Even though if he made even a tiny whimper you would see him in nanoseconds.

great work, but you gotta work on how you make silhouettes and darken places where they look unnaturally dark because you're there.

I absolutely love my ghillie, but it's far from how realistic yours is. I use fresh foliage, but still, if wearing ghillies was art, you would be the Michelangelo of the forest.

Hey km, give us a challenge where you hide using a camo suit and well try to seek you. Record it then hide in place, Give us at least 30 seconds to find you then after that reveal where you are. This can test if were good with spotting or you are too good to blend in the environment.

You should film a couple more settings where you are a little closer to the camera and more out in the open. Or don't... Either way, it's a badass suit. Fine job.

the only reason I was sometimes able to see him was because I noticed the change in the frame. for example there all of a sunden being an extra bush or something like that

Making a Guilin suit is easy just gets long green sleeves and greens pants and super glue or use flex tape and put a lot of leaves on you and that one part when you were in the tree that was crazy bro omg
Most were impossible to see, however there was a few where i instantly saw where you were namely in the first location i saw the body shape in the bushes in the left because of the almost silhouette shape and when you were basically out in the open next the the rock (i think it was a rock) and in the second location sitting in the tree and standing to the right of it. Not saying the suit is bad, because it’s amazing, but it does go to show how much choice of hiding location impacts your suits ability to blend in to it’s environment even in a woodland area that it’s specifically designed for and the overall shape your body makes can give you away. Actually kinda informative information past the game aspect of “where’s the sniper?”
You can make your own mini game between you and nearby fans called "spot the gillie"
Hope you do more of these videos, also if you do, a cool extra addition would be to place a target or something near the camera that you’d shoot each time as to simulate what it’d be like for your victims.
Also, to keep the pressure up a bit more. “Find the sniper before the sniper finds you.”
What a fantastic video. James, you always produce such awesome content. I thoroughly enjoy each one and always look forward to the next. The KMCS is scary good. Like, it realty makes me think about reality. If i was in a real war situation, I'd be easy pickings. The only thing i have in my favor is solar color blindness that makes it easier to pick out patterns. The problem is, i only saw you once before you moved. ONCE

weirdly, i could find you easier, about 95% of the time, on my phone from the sniper ops page than on my computer... the one that tripped me up was when you were in the tree haha
just look for the dark spot where the lighting doesnt match the rest of the shrubs. same as finding a ghillie guy in real life.
