  • Slow all day until we found the right spot at the right time. There are lots of mud-ledges around the Gold Coast and finding productive areas requires a whole days reconnaissance usually. This is the second half of the session.
    Gear used
    Rod : Majorcraft Go Emotion 6ft 5-10lb
    Reel : Shimano Stradic Ci4 2500
    Line : 6lb leader, 10lb braid
    Lures : Zman 2.5' Slim swims in Bad shad, Midnight oil and Gold flake
    Conditions
    Boat traffic : Low
    Wind : Less than 5 knots
    Tide : Run in
    Moon : New moon

    A couple of great sessions fellas. Do you think a night time fish in the area would produce bigger bream?

      Cheers mate. Yeah I think if the tide was right like it was and at night time you'd get some bigger models coming through for sure. Maybe even a Jewy would pass by the wall at night.
