    Really interesting. May sound weird, But I think its phenomenal that a human being put all this together. That being said I dont even think I could wrap my head around this vehicle if i had one. I'm glad there are videos like this for people like me to come 2. Keep up the good work!!

      Thanks man. There’s still more to learn as well- but yeah, how did people make this- not just the screen itself but the technology

      I agree 1000% these videos have been incredibly useful. From my experience, the people selling these things at the dealership know next to nothing about them. I just hate a few things that in my opinion were better in my last car which was about 40% of the cost of this one

    Does the button to recycle the cabin air actually work on yours? I drive past a waste treatment plant everyday to get to work. Having the button or not on makes no difference in getting outside smells in the cabin. Even exhaust smells from vehicles in traffic in front of you. Has your experience been any different?

    • @calebbyers
      @calebbyers 3 года назад

      It helps on mine to have the recirculation button on with the smell alot.

    • @schmick125
      @schmick125 3 года назад

      @@calebbyers it probably does help but by no means only recirculates the air inside the cabin. I drive by a waste treatment plant and in my old car I never smelled it. This one isn’t as good. And for the cost I feel like the tech is lacking.

    • @calebbyers
      @calebbyers 3 года назад

      @@schmick125 We drive it past waste treatment plants regularly also and never smell it. You might want to get that looked at. I do agree while it has lots of great tech (or at least our denali trim does) its not quite as much as others. We had a jeep that had more bells and whistles than this and it cost less. I think with these trucks part of what makes them cost more is the fact of their sheer size and big engines makes them more expensive to build

    Do you not have navigation in your radio. I have a 16 Denali and as far and I can tell the compass and gauge cluster maps are not related to paying for OnStar.

    • @dannyjohnsonsgarage
      @dannyjohnsonsgarage  3 года назад +1

      The navigation that appears on the radio screen does not work as well. I’m assuming from a subscription

      The batteries for the sensors may have died or if it had new sensors that may not be compatible. You will need the tool to set them to each position

    How do you read the voltage meter on the dash? What value does the marks represent?

    • @dannyjohnsonsgarage
      @dannyjohnsonsgarage  9 месяцев назад +1

      It should be 13.5V-14.5V if the alternator is working correctly. If it's reading in the 12s the regulator has shut it off, and the alternator could fail (or the regulator part of the alternator). Here is how to replace the alternator if you see it constantly at 12V (meaning battery only) ruclips.net/video/TBghcBO-oHU/видео.html

    I just got a 2015 Yukon Denali Xl. I had it for a couple weeks before battery crapped out and got a new battery. My question is my voltmeter usually showed 14v and after battery change it stays around 13v. Any clue why?? When I was having battery issues they check starter and alternator and said they were okay. Maybe I need to check alternator again? I mean.. it keeps it charged and doesn’t die. Just curious if it was an issue or not

    • @dannyjohnsonsgarage
      @dannyjohnsonsgarage  2 года назад

      Mine is usually around 14V but 13.5- 14.5 is normal for charging. The regulator may be turning off or requiring less from the alternator, but mine has a new battery and it’s doing 14V. Just keep an eye on the alternator and if you start seeing 12s you know the Alternator is bad

    • @dannyjohnsonsgarage
      @dannyjohnsonsgarage  3 года назад

      It may be referring to the side warning for the back up or front sensors that measure from the sides. They may be dirty. If not does it have retractable side steps? Probably not as likely but it could be related to those
