I imagined empty, pumping waves when I set out on this adventure, but truth be told it has so far been defined by waiting, boredom, frustration, crowds, loneliness, and alienation.
I'm starting to question if its all worth it - when I stumble across this wave, with only one other out.

Wow, reading comments here quite a few of them actually mean to you Tom. They are afraid of this place no longer their secret haunts. This reminded me of asian aunties playing poker, they will turn hostile at you when their supposed good luck card turns bad when you ask the dealer for your card.
