If he does that and Shinsekai Yori is Not in the top 3 I don't Know anymore. The Studio has mostly low-budget productions that have barely anything else but their good Animation. And Shinsekai Yori is a masterpiece ^^

As of January, 2017, this list needs an update. "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" is the most entertaining piece of lighthearted anime fluff I have ever seen. It is simply adorable.
Kyoto is my favorite anime studio. I love there cute art style and the vibrant colors. "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" also happens to my favorite anime of all time. The story is interesting and the characters are all very well written. also it has some of the best American voice acting I've ever seen in an anime. it's definatly worth watching. Great video by the way, keep it up :)

Wow, typically I don't pay any attention to what studios make what anime, but I was honestly surprised how many of these I've already seen from the same studio. Not only seen, but really liked. I will have to put at least one of these anime that I actually haven't seen on my To Watch list knowing I enjoyed so many of the others.
If you're out of ideas for content, then I would personally recommend that you make more 'underrated' and 'never seen before' top tens. I just really like seeing all the shows that get pushed aside and overshadowed and seeing them hey the praise they deserve. I'd really like to see more of them but of you have other ideas then that would be cool too.
I absolutely love Hibike Euphonium too. I understand why some don't like it, but I think it deserves more recognition for portraying a pretty realistic high school band life.

Watch 2006, then 2009 (which I believe is the second season, but it's been a while since I watched it), then watch the movie. The series can be a bit of a drag at times but watch through it because the movie is amazing :D

I'm now watching another anime from this studio thats is on this list and I'm enjoying it. Now im going to keep track of studio's more often because they may create work that i like. Nichijou is bae T~T I've re watched it so many times. Glad to see it made a list. I'd also suggest the same variety style: Daily life of high school boys. It would be right up your alley If you like Nichijou! X)
KyoAni is a class act in the anime scene, achieving both critical acclaim and financial success. K-ON! is still the best-selling anime of all time in Japan so they know what sells and they are masters of telling very relatable and human stories.
+Blake Belladonna I don't know about the telling stories part, considering that LN adaptations are what's being made by everyone these days. So really you should be giving credit to the LN authors first.
I KNEW Haruhi would make it SOMEWHERE on this list. Despite the "Endless Eight" in season 2, this show remains one of my favorite anime and probably one of the best anime Kyoto Animation ever made. Something to note that wasn't in the video: the series had a spin-off show called "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan" but the show was produced by a different company.
Kawaii Yuki The movie's animation was incredible and it portrayed the whole situation well. It was just a sharp contrast to the fun and rather light hearted show.
I'll defend the concept of Endless Eight to the death, as excellent in idea, though flawed in execution, precisely because it was so frustrating, it gave me a newfound insight into Nagato's psyche, after all, she saw and remembers Every single loop, and I personally found it rather fun to see the little differences, though 4 episodes, while losing the alliterative appeal in the title would've been enough to achieve that goal in my personal opinion. Still, I found it a fascinating experiment in storytelling, and I maintain that the resulting backlash was unfortunate precisely because that'd put such experimentation on a back-burner.
+maglorian I personally love the concept and execution of endless eight (the second episode of endless eight gave me goosebumps) Imo it sets up the atmosphere for the movie and puts us viewers in nagato's shoes to those who despise it you still gotta give credit to kyoani for having the balls to air it

I'll admit that choosing a top 10 out of Kyoto Ani isn't easy, but seriously, who puts Phantom World over series like Free and Kanon? Both of those series were MUCH better than Phantom World. all these people saying he's run out of idea, i think the studio lists are just not for you...i have watched about 4 of the anime on this list already and enjoyed them, I didn't know they were by the same studio and now i know I like that studio. I'm now watching another anime from this studio thats is on this list and I'm enjoying it. Now im going to keep track of studio's more often because they may create work that i like. Prior to this i didn't know any studio's just anime. So thanks Misty for opening my eyes.

god i've seen every series on this list other than Full Metal Panic!. Safe to assume KyoAni is my favorite. i'd also recommend most of these to any of my friends. I would've thrown in lucky star too but i know misty's not in the business of top 11s.

Haruhi Suzumiya is my favorite tsundere girl in anime I've ever seen her before. That was my two first Kyoto Animation anime series The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and K-On!
Same goes for me as far as firsts. I actually watched the Haruhi movie first on a whim and fell in love, and found K-on out of boredom as well, both became 2 of my favorites.

KyoAni is a class act in the anime scene, achieving both critical acclaim and financial success. K-ON! is still the best-selling anime of all time in Japan so they know what sells and they are masters of telling very relatable and human stories.
+Blake Belladonna I don't know about the telling stories part, considering that LN adaptations are what's being made by everyone these days. So really you should be giving credit to the LN authors first.

I KNEW Haruhi would make it SOMEWHERE on this list. Despite the "Endless Eight" in season 2, this show remains one of my favorite anime and probably one of the best anime Kyoto Animation ever made. Something to note that wasn't in the video: the series had a spin-off show called "The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan" but the show was produced by a different company.
For me the movie is where it really shine through even though the first season is good
Kawaii Yuki The movie's animation was incredible and it portrayed the whole situation well. It was just a sharp contrast to the fun and rather light hearted show.

I'll defend the concept of Endless Eight to the death, as excellent in idea, though flawed in execution, precisely because it was so frustrating, it gave me a newfound insight into Nagato's psyche, after all, she saw and remembers Every single loop, and I personally found it rather fun to see the little differences, though 4 episodes, while losing the alliterative appeal in the title would've been enough to achieve that goal in my personal opinion.
Still, I found it a fascinating experiment in storytelling, and I maintain that the resulting backlash was unfortunate precisely because that'd put such experimentation on a back-burner.
+maglorian I personally love the concept and execution of endless eight (the second episode of endless eight gave me goosebumps)
Imo it sets up the atmosphere for the movie and puts us viewers in nagato's shoes
to those who despise it you still gotta give credit to kyoani for having the balls to air it

Ok, Misty, i need your help, or anyone who rly seriously knows the anwser to my question rly, Please tell me hwo should i watch Haruhi Suzumiya since when i first watched it it was in a weird order (back then i didint rly put much tought itno it) but now i want to properly see it in chronoligcal order and not have all events just jumbled up! Everywhere i look, wikipedia, randome forums, ... I keep getting diffrent anwesers and i just wan to rewatch it properly since i cant even remember most of it anyways. So please i need help on this!
Wow, this might be the first list that Misty has done that I almost completely disagreed with, in both series choices and order. I'll admit that choosing a top 10 out of Kyoto Ani isn't easy, but seriously, who puts Phantom World over series like Free and Kanon? Both of those series were MUCH better than Phantom World.
For those that watched this video, please watch Kanon and Free before Phantom World. I still can't wrap my head around why Misty would put that series on this list...
