It’s become a meme now that people say this is (blank’s) country album
I don’t think I’ve ever agreed with a Shawn take so much before
2:28 the context makes yachty look worse btw.. mitch was saying robbing / banging / selling drugs isn't the path to go down and yachty tried "checking him" by saying he wouldnt have taken his own advice in his early 20s, mitch tries explaining himself, yachty starts shitting on him while under a BLANKET
i liked yachty a lot, not his music but as a person. then when he publicly defended drake i was like “uhhh” and now with this im just disappointed. where did it go so wrong??
This was a private conversation that was turned public. I see what boat was trying to say but it came off sounding crazy
both legs up is crazy
"I think buddy gon regret this later"
Crazy Foreshadowing...
He did the same shit to Burberry Perry and Kodie Shane
Laying out his mans business like the Meet The Graham's cover art. Crazy work
9:51 bruh, as a mf from South Memphis, that shit made me 😡 Key Glock never was a street dude. Dolph had that kid on tour with him when he was in high school. And he braggin about catching a burglary charge 😂😂
You know how ts go. Folks be class clowns then turn to street niggas. Especially Memphis folks.
He turned what Mitch was trying to say as a positive thing because he now has the insight that there is other ways than crime into what he did for Mitch which is narcissistic asf. How tf you turn something positive into something negative about your friend to make yourself look better. Yachty tries sooo hard to be cool his whole career. He talks about it so much and literally talks about being cool IN THIS PODCAST.
1:32 Very specifically, Kevin Parker/Tame Impala tailored his cosplay suit.
This aged bad already
What point was he even trying to get across? His whole argument was so dumb. No logic at all. He clearly just had this anger built up.
Its the fact thus mf lil yachty was growing industry plants and nobody talking about it.
fatcs he exposed himself when he said he writes for karrahboo because why tf you putting on these wack personality vampires
I wouldn't come at my mans like this ever
While Yachty is obviously why a lot of people watch safe space pod it would not be nearly as good without mitch and he seems to be taking him for granted
One thing I don’t understand is that he complains about his ppl being lazy and not putting effort in yet he’s doing all their work and spoiling them just to air out their business
yupp, hyper independence is a result of trauma.
Bro I’m convinced that anyone that portrays themselves as “kind” or “safe” or “good” as a way to benefit themselves is a fucking scammer of our emotional energy bro wtf is wrong with some people. As you said, there are reasons why people end up taking on the world alone. I won’t owe nobody sh*t.
Trusting a rapper is crazy
This is the best coverage of a recent event I've seen from Shawn in a minute. He's spot on with this take.
Mitch is an incredibly talented producer
this is the same person that got on IG and swore his former artist Karrahboo talks down to people recently. the hypocrisy is astounding‼️🙃
Every word that comes out of Yachty pisses me off
Exhibit A of why I fawk with Shawn... 100% Solid. Speaking on it is one thing, but the levels Yachty went is CRAZY. He's one of those.. extra corny.
I knew you were gonna have this take I don’t even gotta watch the vid yet
Unfortunately, my mama like this, and that’s why I gotta be deeply desperate to ask for help. Feel like I have to immediately return the favor, but luckily have great ppl in my life
it gets worse when he Addresses the situation with fuck Mitch. I saw that before I saw the interview and after seeing the interview I'm at a loss for words
I don’t know one adult personally that doesn’t have a job.
Shawn speaking my thoughts exactly yet again
You know we got the bad timeline when out of all the soundcloud era artist Yachty ended up lasting the longest and being the most successful outside of Carti/Uzi.
Ngl he was petty for that
This is why you never work with friends or family cuz this is the type of shit it does
He got a right to be mad but the way he doing it so disrespectful. Means he was only doing good for the look instead of actually caring
the kendrick vs drake beef is somehow responsible for yachty getting overwhelmed by the internet and crashing out rn
Men will treat other men different based on how much money they have more than women do
i watched the podcast and just clicked of at the middle cause that man went on and on like brooooo
Feels like a whole lotta drama over an a pretty inconsequential awkward moment.
Lil yatchy loves drama, you only see him pop up on your timeline when he says something dumb looool. That's why he loves giving bad opinions on the drake and kendrick beef aswell.
Anytime I get a little bit of money I start paying for everyone shit. I always regret it later, but I never bring it up (unless I’m really drunk) and if I do I play it off as a joke cause it feels shitty otherwise.
It seems to me like yachty is one of those ppl that don't help just to help. They do it because they get to look like the hero who took you out of the mud. If there's any disagreement, they'll use it all against you
I know Lil Yachty isn’t talking down to people when this man is 27 exclusively eating pizza and nothing else.
