This is complete misleading. I did a direct Booking a by phone contacting this Kosala Amaranayaka at Moon place Luxury Apartments at Nuwara Eliya on 9th March 2024 by looking their photos and videos on internet . When we reach to the place I can’t believe what they offer for us on Apartment 17B. There was no any Luxury there. Not even close to it. It was very dirty and out dated apartment. Only one washroom for 8 people, Lots of stains on the every walls. Dirty Sofa in living area. Broken washing basing in the attic. Ladder and other equipments under the bed of one of main bed room, Lots of flies everywhere, Microwave not working (Kosala Amaranayaka even didn’t even admit it and blame us it was our problem) , Standing lamp broken and not sure when it will down at my kids head, Big electric motor fixed at washroom ceiling (first time I saw like it in my life) Dirty out dated washroom with Brocken cupboard. Most of the walls plaster feeling off. They charge Rs18,000 per one night for this apartment. What a shame I pad Rs5000 as a advance. We decided to leave the place without refund immediately and came home abandoning our trip to Nuwara Eliya. This Kosala Amaranayaka tottaly totally liar and mislead us. When I complain about the condition of their Apartment his response was they have lots of positive ratings on Booking.com and some small percentage of people complain like us and they don’t care what we complain. I cannot believe who will give positive rating like this kind of bad apartment. Their responsibility is providing good condition place to stay every customer booking their place.
